This shit sounds complicated. What do you guys think about A&L Western Labs for soil tests? Waiting for results as we speak, but didnt opt for recommendations on the report. They said they wouldn't supply them for our crop.

This may be a very naive question, but why wouldnt you be able to apply albrecht ratios to your test results? Cant you just disregard their recommendations and just use the information about what is actually present in your soil to adjust for percentage ratios?

Milky; I suspect your direct contact with their rep is very useful. The woman I spoke with was helpful but honest about the fact she didn't know about application rates and that she'd send me the paperwork with the product. I figured it may take multiple sprays but didn't know if back to back in less than 24h would hurt. Will run a stronger spray tomorrow. Longer term I doubt I will be running this cross again outdoors in these humidity levels. The ones with the PM have incredible stature but the siblings without PM have an awful lanky weak stem trait I believe comes from the OG.

So Gary called me back...says use 4 gts of Sea Shield in 20 gallons of water as a stand alone fight for PM. Says it probably won't totally kill it though but will slow it down for sure.

Here is the aea rescue rememdy for PM...20 gallons of water, so adjust accordingly for how much water you need to foliar:

Sea Crop...1 gallon...so per gallon of spray...6 ounces
Sea Stim...2 gallon..................................... 12 ounces
Micropak....1 qt.......................................... 1.5 ounces
PHT-Ca...1 gallon....................................... 6 ounces
Sea Shield...2 qt........................................ 3 ounces
Micro 5000....5 tsp.......................................1/4 tsp
pepzyme...25 drops.................................... 5 drops

Spray this mix 5 days apart twice...so today and one more time in 5 days. Gary says it flat cures PM.

And here is the mix to fight spider mites just in case someone experiences them....per gallon

Sea Stim....6 ounces
Micro 5000...1/4 tsp
pepzyme.....5 drops

For the record Build a Soil treats me right period. I highly recommend them.

If you understand the calculations and do not have free Ca in your soil...absolutely. You can work straight from ppms if you know all the formulas.

In case anyone is wondering where I pulled 1mL to a gallon, Gary R told me someone uses 2mL of everything organic to a gal and has good, biologically active soil. It takes 3 months too get good bio after innoculating with Taino's products. He also does a light foliar almost everyday.

He'll make a concetrated solution of the bottles minus rejuvenate in equal proportion so when it's time to feed, which is now 1/5 as often since switching to aea, he just pours the stuff in and adds rejuvenate at 2mL per gal.

Got some dep Bd looking completely green and healthy 73ish days or so still packing it on, looks like I'll 8oz + off a 15 gal pot, major milestone for me. My SFV dep is probably the loudest I've seen locally, this stuff kicks ass.

Alright, let me run the math through just to make sure I'm not entirely an idiot. 4gal to 20gal is 1/5 of a gallon or 3.2cups for 1 gal of spray. Yep that's one hell of an increase of the 2T I used.

Just got off the phone again with Dirty soil Consulting......They do offer CEC values, for an extra 70$ than logans full report, for a total of 135$. They don't offer cec values in any lower soil package. She also said they go off USDA standards.....WTF!

Stay away from these people.

Thats a rich sea crop amount, 4.5%ish at 6oz per gal, and twice in five days is amazing, im going to try that out on its own(just sea-crop) on a couple plants.

Thanks for the recipe's.

Ok. Maybe I'm just spoiled, but the total cost from my local state agricultural extension, including OM/Salt Levels/CEC is $14 for an in state resident. Is there something I'm missing with these third parties yall are dealing with? Does a free blowjob come with for that extra $100?

Milky, so glad I caught your post instead of going and spraying! So 1QTfor 5 gallons ,or .2QT(.8cups) for 1 gallon. I picked up some elemental sulfur from bonide for a week down the road if this doesn't take. I aint'nt losing a big girl this late in the season.

That is for an active case of PM...it is not recommended for healthy plants

Pretty sure I told ya to stay away from dirty biz bulldog , they are clowns.

Yup and you were right. I did msg you saying logan was 4 weeks out at the time, but when I called today they said 3-4 days is pretty standard. Soil should get there Monday and I am going to stress the importance of getting the results before the holiday, and pay extra if needed.

Most times good ideas don't pass through my thick skull the first time. Takes multiple attempts to permeate this dense membrane.:moon:

I will say this...even if your soil is balanced pay attention to the ec. 0.6-0.8 is the range that works without top dressing or feeding. Byf taught me that and it proves itself indoors or out.

If you are balanced with an ec of 0.7, a soil that is biologically alive and the aea/tainio stuff it gets real easy

I use 1gram spectrum extra per yard. I add that to whatever volume it takes to soak a bed. Usually 20-25gallons with 2oz rejuvenate and 1ml pepzyme clear for every gallon of water..
