Did you sneak a sample smoke yet Canna? will be interested in hearing on terps too! I’m hoping for some cherry the others have reported.

Not much going here need to get out to the big patch soon. Topped my two males and collecting pollen. Nothing special about this one but when you’ve only two to play with you do what you can ;)

No not yet. It's my luck but I've been digging this one cut if Bangi Haze that I had previously been bad mouthing. Im just not fond of the taste and aroma of the strain, but one of the last two cuts I grew really packs a punch that I don't get a tolerance to after the first night. Of course I don't have those cuts anymore.

But I will soon get into the satellite.

Purple haze Satellite

Purple haze Satellite

That is a decent male F2F, nice size sacs clumping together nicely and I can see some fuzz on the stem, always a good sign.
My Purple Haze Satellite is still putting on bud sites, so she won't be finishing nearly as early as the PS side of her.
I bent the tops down to keep them under the required 6 foot height, but the side branches that have taken over as leader are in need of getting tied down also. In case she goes long, I have a scrog net set up in the greenhouse for the Thai stick/THH and Zamal/THH.
Her smells are sweet berry incense, the most amazing smell imho. I'm planning on selfing her, so if Vermontman doesn't get more seeds in stock, I'll be happy to hand these out if all goes well.

He will be put to work in the coming days along with some MNS mango haze pollen from last year. if the MH pollen is still viable and takes, I will have lots of seeds to share around the canna community.

additionally, I’ll make straight PS F2’s, and put this F1 pollen to the PS F2’s for a bx of sorts. basically an all-out chuck for me to continue to explore Vmans sweet sweet genetics :D

Haha. Kind of crazy on the 6ft rule. We also have height requirements in my state but more to segregate clones from veg plants from flowering. Obvious ways to get around this nonsense.

I’m SO curious to see how early this PHS comes in, and the effects. As you’ve eluded to already the PS could be a great tool to decrease flower time while still bringing solid effects and sublime terps. People in moderate climates appreciate this. ;)

There was new stock just a few Days ago, but it was sold out fast again. :)

Nice Plants btw.

Peace

I just saw that the other day PP. Does the Ace newsletter give any insight on drop dates (just signed up)? For now Im ok playing with F1 cuts and F2 seeds.

Starting to get going here. PS8 F1 (Vermontman via Ace)

Side note - I see the Ace R&D section has changed a lot recently. Focus on Erdpurt crosses, the newer Indian accessions, and CBD. A couple in the not-for-sale section are tantalizing.

Hi all, beautiful satellites and crosses I see here. I have two clones outdoors since early May. The bigger one started flowering late May, started reveg couple of weeks later and back to flower mid-late July...

I don't know, i have never ordered Seeds from the ACE site. Someone on a german forum told me a few days ago that new stock was available.

Happily i still have a few hundred Purple Satellite and Pineapple Banana Bud F1's to play around later. I really liked the Pineapple Banana Bud, some great pineapple smelling Plants with a nice High in this line. :)

Peace

So jealous, I ordered 10 pack of Purple satellite seeds from ace Over the winter. Seeds were kinda small, not a single one popped. Wanted to start them indoors and have clones for outdoor New England grow this year.

Well...what can I say. Novice. I was sick to my stomach Sunday when I visited the guerrilla patch. I was on the fence on a plant and didn’t get back out in time...miniature chandeliers everywhere. Balls balls balls. He was a stud Zacatecas tribute. Three PS and one Zacatecas tribute seeded. :blackeye:

I pick myself up mentally, learn from this, and start planning for next year (and researching dry sift, cobbing, and bubble). :D will pass cuts to a buddy for indoor so he can do this right.

This is PS3, a lower test Bud. earliest girl. Pretty good resin.

When things are done I’ll post my learnings here in hopes it could be of use to others. There are still two golden tigers and another narrow leaf not throwing pistils yet so a little something to look forward to still. Ahhhh...breathe.

Peace all,

I got about a 50% germination rate from the two packs received this winter so not the best either. I’m in love with the PS, she really checks all the boxes for me as an outdoor plant. They are just now starting to really pick up the pace flowering and they really do look like they could be clones, just like last year’s batch. I’m watching closely to see how you folks growing F2’s and crosses make out.

Hiya Stinkhorn,

I’ve yet to sample a mature bud, but thought it notable to mention F2’s run this year didn’t lack in vigor one bit. Planted out 14” late June, 3ft beginning July, two plants were 12ft by end July after major stretch finished.

Here is PS9, F1 via Ace.

Frost is there, and she has a stronger stem rub smell and shorter internodal spacing than the other F1 female (PS8). Very happy to see last year’s Mango Haze pollen has worked on this top. Also have some lowers of this one seeded with my best F1 PS male. I will now hit her with a guano/molasses ACT + myco until finish.

These F1’s are throwing new pistils even after pollination so they should continue to add a little more bulk (?). Seems my seeded F2’s were slowing down and focused on seed production, weren’t throwing new pistils. Thoughts and experience appreciated!

Peace,
F2F

Hi F2F, your PS looks super. It seems to me that our PS's are in the same flowering phase (approximately) -even if mine's are from clones -.
Tomorrow I will take photos of mine.
What do you smell from yours?

Hello all, I have enjoyed your posts very much. F2F, don't be to discouraged about a male. Sometimes they are a blessing in disguise. My PS is finally flowering. I had anticipated a much earlier start.

This PS reminds me of a SnowMoon I grew out about 5 seasons ago. The stalk is the most beautiful burgundy color. The leaves and veins are green. She's starting to fill in with buds now. I will take a picture of her when I'm done with coffee.
