Dont think you are the first to hose down a grow with the wrong shit...
I have sprayed my box with 3x power Pyrethrum then put them under my lights.......Lost every leaf.
Rinsed them and let them go. They actually came out quite good. It took longer as they were suddenly so far behind. Looked like crap.

couple z's still in deep vacuum.

I then realize that my PWM mix is in my pump sprayer which means I just sprayed......ph down all over my plants!!!!
Sorry to read about your bad experience Lowellprince. Question for you: Why do you have Ph down in a spray bottle at all? What do you spray with it? :tiphat:

Old token.......I got some from a fellow farmer friend and it was just the closest cleanest thing I had to contain it in and just never got around to putting in a bottle or other container. Or at the very least label the son of a gun

Crap, here the pics and Dave, it's really just gonna b whatever the grower feels eventually? At least that's how I figure it. I have no clue what a plant looks like growing all natural, so to speak, and doubt I ever will. But look at these babies, unscrogged them just now and let them live out the last two weeks free from restraints and the usually 'larfy' buds ain't nothin to larf about

You're right, its what the grower wants to do at the end of the day that counts, but 'feeling' isn't a substitute for trial and error, and experimentation in our gardens. A person can try one thing only and believe its the greatest thing ever, or they can go outside the box and discover something even greater.

Thanks Lowellprince! Thought there was some secret use for Ph down that I didn't know about. Good luck with the plants.:tiphat:

U know, I apologize Dave and your very much so correct and my only confidence in defoliation is only from research as this is my "popping cherry" grow. As for narrow mindedness in this freakin fantastic hobby, I will do my best not to b. Thus far I have noticed that for an inexperienced grower, I have a lot to offer in knowledge wether it soil, soilless, hydroponic but I don't have personal experience as a leg to stand on. I will say this, Malawi growing in coco is about to drive me crazy getting a good nute dose that's not overwhelming for the sativa. Aaaand signing of w a piece of bud porn

Tis water under the bridge. Im just glad I didn't throw a hand grenade into the response and undo all the good communication. Ive been known to do that. Heh.:huggg:

Growing is indeed a fantastic hobby, and you're going to love it. Treat your plants like your pets, give them the utmost care you can, and you'll always be rewarded.

There is alot to learn, but if you want to really accelerate your learning, buy Understanding pH Management for container-grown crops.

Bill also has some great articles here that I would recommend reading through. Then re-read a second time.

Spend your money on that book and not snake oils. That book and the articles are my grow bible.

Invest in a good EC/PPM(Bluelab is great) meter and a Hanna suction lysimeter 30cm, and you'll be on easy street to finding a nutrient strength that works for your girls. Sold out on amazon, so look elsewhere if your curious enough to try.

That's beautiful! It certainly looks different from my pheno. Yours has thicker buds and is more round.
Lemon is kind of a normal smell for most cannabis when you touch the flowers, at least in my experience. The killer Malawi is supposed to smell woody/oily when you rub the stems. Mine doesn’t.
I don’t think your Malawi is anywhere near finishing, though. Pistils aren’t even getting brown yet. Several more weeks to go, that’s for sure.
