WOW - Killer thread guys, I just had to read through it, and very very nice pictures and plants guys, Im a Sativa lover as well :D I thought I would come on in and throw in some of my pictures..

This first picture is of 2 HIGHLAND Oaxacan Landrace buds and 1 bud called Sticky Retardo. The Highland Oaxaca is the back 2 buds, the front left bud is the SR.

Highland Oaxacan Landrace - These buds were awesome! The most PSYCHEDELIC high I have ever experienced. visual 'tracers' were common upon smoking a joint... It was super pleasent, as in it made anything you were doing bearable. It just made you sit back and SMILE hahaha.. It was very very spicy, like oregeno.. super spicy, that was the only flavor to it.

Sticky Retardo - A spicy sweet pure Mexican Sativa, it was super potent, with a speedy up high, very strong and long lasting, heavier than the Oaxaca but with the same racy motivation

Last of the Oaxaca

Last of the SR

Mango Haze

Here are some pictures of the last Sativa I grew.. it was a generic Mexican Sativa out of some green potent sativa brick. It turned out very nice, very stinky and frosty, and smelled strongly of lemon. Very uplifting high

way to go  looks liek some dank oaxacan spice to me ;) you do them much justice!

That LumboG looks incredible CBF, looks like there is foxtailing all over it, like something wild.

glad u like them cript.

the real secret to skunk though is to keep a lil jar of its pollen around. its a great stable cross hard to fuck up. if you end up with a rare sativa you like but don't have a male of it the skunk is a great pappa.

its sativa dominant, vigorous, high yielding, short flower, and most importantly its smell mixes great with other smells. it doesn't matter if the weed you want to cross with it is fruity, floral, spicy, herbal. doesn't matter, breathe a lil of the pungent skunk sweetness into it and it can't help but enhance the smell.

the only other breeding stock I can say gets the same vote on every level is burmese pure. its alot more inbred than skunk and you can feel it in the high but in crosses. jesus its great. this burmaberry was a freebie I wasn't expecting anything out of and it turned out to be some of the best tasting/smelling weed I've ever had and an incredibly happy stone to boot.

Yea Taco,,,I completely agree...The male Skunk#1 is a great parent plant...I have saved 2 nice males and quite a bit of stored pollen of each plant...

All of the specimens were not that great but there were a few standouts of which I chose just one...I have plenty of seed to keep looking if I choose..
The one I saved has a great pungent odor and yeilds quite well...A little more sativa than indica in the high and this one has very good resin content..

Most hybrids made with Sk#1 are more potent than both parents and are EXTREMELY vigorous...Especially the hybrids with Northern Lights and Hindu Kush...The latter being a monster yeilder...

Take care Motaco...........................................CC

yeah skunk is a wonder. its been taken in so many directions and its been stable for 25 or 30 yrs now but it doesn't seem to get inbred. you can still find mix phenos out a pack of skunk. especially depending who you buy from. I had a pheno of "the pure" that was as sativa as many other pure sativas I've grown. had those airy buds like in the oaxaca pics I post. but they were the pure. and the other phenos I put pics up of in this thread. dense hybrids.

a little revival...

a little revival...

Heya Raco...Good to see you around..I wondered how long it would take ya to find us in the thread here...
Harry, good to see you too matey!!Hope all is well on your side o' da pond....
Beancounter,
What odor did they posess? Was it the greeny odor or something really nice??

Hey CBF??!!??What the hell does that C.Gold have???
Have you smoked it yet?Was it from clone or seed? You sure as hell have run a lot of sativas this year!!!!Patience is a little easier to handle when you have several different indis and sats coming due at all diff times...

Taco,
One thing about the Skunk#1's is that most are just average at best with some really nice standouts to be found..I enjoy the hunt so it is OK with me but someone only growing a few seeds I can understand not having excellent results....

Heres some nice shots of the Haze X Skunk#1 (Sam Skunkman gear)
