dude in front of me at wallyworld yesterday had like 6 8 packs of gatoraide and 5 cases of ramen noodles and white bread, bologna and american cheese...
i'm guessing a bachelor...

I probably would have thought the same.

This observation now has me curious what you (or any one here) might
conclude from my monthly grocery haul :)

I do shop bargains/ sales and pad the larder, esp. in the winter months.
Shopping according to sales and typically bi weekly but here is a

typical month:

32 lb.ground round. Locally grown & fresh ground by my local butcher.
5 lb. beef fat trimmings also from my butcher.

4 lb. bacon.
16 doz large eggs.
8 lbs. unsalted butter.
8 cans sardines.
2 cans smoked Trout.
2 lb. chicken livers.
2 32oz. Expresso whole bean coffee.
Salt.

What category of shopper might I fit into? :)

Drop everything from the butter down and add some cheese and that is good for me. I only do 12 dozen eggs a month though. And I eat more bacon than that also. Maybe twice that.

I get my beef from the farmer as well.

30 pounds ground beef
3 pounds grated cheese
3 pounds butter
8-10 pounds bacon
12 dozen fresh eggs from my brothers chickens

About what I eat in a month. I throw in some ham from time to time as well.

I went over to my friends and gave him some seed. His were not popping. He just stored them on a shelf in the grow. Mine have been in the fridge stored with desiccant beads. Funny mine popped.

But the fucker got me sick as shit. I have a 3.6 degree fever. freezing my ass off. Found out he was sick because two grow stores closed and he was looking for some soil.

My cholesterol is bordering to low. So, I am safe. Plus, The American Heart Association took the statement that cholesterol causes heart attacks off the page. Which it don't. Well indirectly when you attach some sugar to it. But by itself and eaten without a bunch of carbs it is not a issue.

And since mine is to low, I am fine if I don't eat the crap with it.
