Always like seeing these desert photos. So different to where I am.

Mountain biking has become huge here. They have taken over some of my best walking tracks. I even dusted off my bike and went for a ride the other day. Thoroughly enjoyed it too.

there's some great frame builders down under, and of course the entire middle of the continent is great fat bike terrain

Sorry to hear about Cricket, Hammer. I hope he gets well soon! Mae too, Icky, I hope her eye continues to mend.

I think your storm is heading our way Akss. Supposed to warm up to 40, rain, snow 19-21", then back down negatives at night.

I don't think I'm quite up to the standard of bike you have. I have a Trek that's a few years old (yes, I realise they don't have a good rep, but didn't know when I bought it), but it does what I want it to do. I have decided to use it more often, mix up my hiking with biking.

I noticed during lock down when people couldn't go to the gym, that things really exploded here. Where I go hiking I used to see one bike every now and then. Now there are about 50 in this small area most weekends. The council even modified and built tracks for mountain bikes. I have decided mountain biking is for lunatics. I should fit right in.

same here, and at the same time there was the whole supply chain thing...the local bike shop got crowded with "back of the garage" bikes people dragged out and got fixed...which was/is great to see...but a pain for the mechanics...

it's funny, the local shop is primarily a trek shop, but not one of the mechanics own a trek

You do have some nice views out there but i cant wait to see them trails full of snow...

they won't be...depending on which model is right...either next to nothing or 3 inches...snow never last here..it stops, the sun comes out,and poof,gone...by saturday back to the 60's,so two chilly days
