Sunday the high here was 57 degrees.

We got 40 MPH winds yesterday. Driving around I saw this.

Talk about a bad day. Those trusses probably cost $1200 each. And cost $2000 in crane fees to get up there.

This is well over 10K to fix.

Now are you accounting for the "current" market value of all that wood?

Just a guess. I was quoted $400 per truss for 30 footers. These are about 60 with laminated top and bottom cords. Those are are about $6 per foot. So around $500 for those alone. So they may be even more than $1200 each.

Going to the nice groomed flow trails for the first time on the new bike today. Hopefully we can ride all 4 loops. My riding buddy is finally brave enough to go back and try again. Last time he wiped out 3 times. Left a bruise over most of one side of his body. My other buddy said he heard his body hit the ground twice on one crash. Ouch.

Gonna be a good day. I personally try to stick to a strict no crash policy. Usually works for me.
