:tumbleweed:morn-afternoon campers...got the filter for the tallboy pre filter ordered, went through amazon since of course they had them...i could get a bubble magic washer there too,but i don't have any trim left so no hurry on that...now i have a smallboy filter i don't have an immediate use for...thinking maybe next year i will hook it to the water supply line for the coolers...already had a scale filter clog up this season...it would be nice if the smallboy worked...it would greatly extend the life of the pads...nice to have the ro unit functional again,it was taking waaaaay too long to fill the barrel...start the rozay side of the main room on the flush tomorrow...oh boy,a couple pounds of trimming coming up!:jump::party:

I've been looking at the idea of trying to look at vacuum molding. My interest is basically making hydroponic trays. A while back I took a plastic sled from wal-mart. The tray works well, but doesn't drain 100%. Being able to vacuum mold an area for drain fittings to sit in a recessed area would be HUGE!

you know there's already dozens of companies making hydro trays right? and a machine that could vac form material thick enough ain't gonna be cheap,or small...

Yeah, and so what! I require artistic freedom of creation when ever I find an idea that sparks what ever that interest may be.

I can't always find things at the hydro store that always work how I want.

If I could take one of those 6"-12" green saucers, and vacuum mold an area for an F&D fitting to be put onto the saucer. I could make a drain system. no more emptying run off water from you green saucers.

wouldn't it be vastly simpler to use a regular flood and drain table?

Wouldn't it be vastly simpler to leave your bikes as "stock" and not making changes to any of them?

no,i would just break stock parts, plus i don't buy complete bikes,i buy frames and build them up...and i'm not trying to reinvent the wheel,i'm carefully curating parts for a desired level of performance, durability, and aesthetics

About 82° today with a nice 79% humidty cant do anything without being soaked with sweat. Got some thunder storms inbound and a nice wind change from sw to nw which will cool it right off...

:tumbleweed:mornin campers...my back is wanting to go out,i can feel the disc being fussy...i should go ride a bit...good thing i need nutes anyway...garden chores today, nothing extra to do really,i suppose i could get ahead of the game and take cuts and do some pruning now before it's time for the veg plants to go into flower...i start flushing the rozay tonight...a little molasses once then three plain water days....

still waiting for all the stuff from paul components to ship...they even had a special notice saying to be patient but of course i'm not....been waiting on this stuff for months, like the friggin hubs....still three-ish weeks for those...:bigeye: once i get these parts i will actually have everything except a headset to build another bike...which should be available in late august:dance:
