just gotta drop some weed off,then go grab the first miles of 2019...might go ride out and meet the riders on the monumental loop...they're moving pretty slow,only like 50 miles a day...i wonder if they are having mechanical issues or something...one of the riders has a spot tracker so i can follow along online...no instagram from them yesterday even though they should have had service most of the day...




just have to see where they are and if i can figure out how to ride out to meet them...hopefully nothing has gone wrong...theres already been one fractured leg,and a group started on friday and one of the guys broke his arm in the first 3 miles! and in a spot where i ride a skinny tire road bike for gods sake!


i always suspected our trails were on the gnarly side...


harvest again tomorrow...some ogkb2.0 and cherry cookies...the new stuff,gmo,wedding cake,sunset sherbet starts coming down in a couple more weeks...

i should have just stayed up until it was all over with...it sounded like someone popped off an entire clip with some sort of assault rifle,plus a few handgun clips all on top of the fireworks which went on for a while...

I had to go buy a new shovel. Hit the edge of the road and broke it. But managed to get the rest of the drive done with it since it was just a long crack. I purchased a new one so all is good.

its almost time for the new horizons fly-by...i know its not live coverage but i will stay up for that...the spacecraft is like several billion miles away...takes some time for the signal to get back to earth...

You got me to watch, pretty amazing stuff. Billions of miles and within 1 minute of the calculated arrival. The panel discussion was pretty impressive. I will try to remember to keep track of the Psyche mission’s progress. It’s a good reminder of the potential of a strong team.
