I made Ice wax here in my new washer today. DBMH. Its a good thing my son came over just as I was about to start. I would have messed it up. The wash times are way different. It cant be sieved either, its too saucy. So I made cakes, and put them in my chest freezer I have to micro plane then inside the freezer later, then dry.

My kid made shitloads of beautiful Ice wax. Its in his big commercial freeze dryer right now. Most of his was beautiful golden colored. He was smoking some over here that was white, and crystalline. It sparkled in the sun like diamond dust. Im sure he must have posted pics on IG. Beautiful stuff, from great strains

gotta remember to get batteries for my good camera...some frosty ass buds in flower.got some serious frost rails going on...

got some chilly nights coming up,i turned the gavitas up to 700w and may need to go to 750w to keep the room warm...

hopefully i have a good winter and can get the summer led room built and ready to go so i can tear the main flower room apart and re-do everything...

looks like more rain...nothing better than cold and rainy...and possibly snow this weekend..guess i will be dragging the space heater out...like usual i never bothered dealing with the furnace, still needs parts...but it's like this every winter, there's a couple days here and there where it gets cold-ish,and then it's right back to being 60 out again...and then it's time for the coolers to be on 24/7...

N.E.M? :D .. I got a few in flower. 1 has some color going on. Low temps are helping. I will hit her with Orange Cookies. That will be the last time I use her. As I always say out with the old in with the new.

been puffing on those lower branched of the Sour d that I clipped 4-5 days ago. First bowl I toasted a bean. It was like pop! Oh my gosh talk about super strong and the flavor. It actually has a slightly different taste in the first hit or two till you get that diesel taste. This is either due to the bloom booster towards the end. Or the cold temps I've been giving them day and night. Some of the tops that are facing the light are getting purple. I've seen this before in some plants that the side getting light will purple and the other side stays green.

If the lower underside bud is this strong, I figure the large top side buds will be a little stronger. I'm thinking any ways.

I think I am going to get a Martinez M1 hammer. My elbow still is a little sore from the last roof. I have been using a Estwing 28oz for years. Just hope the M1 hits as hard as the Estwing does. I can drive a 3 inch nail in 2 swings with the Estwing.

Anybody use the Martinez hammer?

Nope. But I did just get a hammer for Christmas, with the inscription "If Grandpa can't fix it, no one can ".

And here I thought you'd use a nail gun for doing all those roofs :D

For most of the work I use a nail gun. But I still use a hammer quite a bit.

There are a lot of people saying it hits like a Estwing. But thought I would ask some one who may have one.

Yeah $225 for the hammer. Seems like a lot but good tools pay for themselves.

I use an old fiberglass handle vaughn that has been good to me and those that borrow comment on it.A younger guy owns the hammer your looking at.If I think of it I will grab some spikes and give it a go.I think my speed square is about 15 years old.

It is the newer one. He made one about 10 or 15 years ago that was good but the newer one is suppose to be better. And you cant get the older one now I think.

I had a Vaughn with a wood handle but after time the head just kept coming loose. So i went with the Estwing. It has been my favorite since and I have had quite a few over the years.

But I broke a tendon in my pinky and I have a hard time gripping the handle now. And I think I should go with a lighter hammer to help keep my elbow from hurting. I think it is the tendon going to the pinky and I am gripping the handle to tight because of the weight.
