It is awful because every thing is turning to mud. The ground is mostly frozen so the water is not draining away that fast.
time to bundle up and ride to the store...it's sorta sno-raining out...guess i get to break out the foul weather gear and feel smart for owning it in the desert...
well that was mildly amusing...not too bad out really...not that i'm eager to go ride or anything...there is a presentation at the bike shop later,gonna be a chilly ride down there although i suppose the temps won't drop off too much...i did drag the space heater out...what a wimp eh? not even quite freezing out...

looks like it's snowing just outside of town now...radar is still showing rain in town,but the sun is down so i imagine that will change...should be an interesting group ride in the morning...

Its been cold and windy here. The wind finally died down. I got out there with the chain saw, and cut up another wheel barrow of logs. Got the fire blasting right now.

i'm sorta excited for the ride tomorrow,the surly/salsa rep bought a bike big enough for me...a salsa cutthroat carbon tour divide bike...basically a drop bar road bike with big mountain bike tires on it...they never bring xl bikes to demo rides so kinda perfect since i thought about getting one,never really gotten to ride a bike before i bought it except the ogre...

-14°F right now w/a light wind, my friend just cleared about 24 inches of the white shit from around my car, while I moved, then cleaned the car. Driveway had been plowed the day before but high winds made large drifts.
severe arthritis didn't help, it took 20-30 mins back inside until my fingers were okay again, I wore some nylon work gloves, surely not right for any of the protection I needed.
i was just thinking earlier my winter glove game is weak...this happens every winter where the temps drop for a few days and then its back to the 50's so i never get around to getting anything better...i might need something better tomorrow morning...gonna be in the 20's...

Awe shucky darns. Its 33 degrees here. Im going to up pot the plants outside, and move them into the green house. I think they are probably ok still. Glad I didn't put them in the ground yet.
