no kidding,it's no exaggeration to say dan has affected peoples lives he didn't even know from here due to his generosity and willingness to help...i've been feeling bad about not being able to help out in any real way,been so broke i couldnt even afford to send seeds in,and i'm just terrible at anything too emotional....spewing nonsense im good at,dealing with something heavy like this,not so much...


but in my own way i will honor him,by taking the time to do more charity rides,and generally trying to be a kinder person...maybe not nicer since you can't teach an old asshole new tricks,but kindness is easier than actually being nice...






anywho....done with the first round of plucking...trimming start on wednesday so a busy week...

I am grateful I had cash to send him right when it started. And just got some seeds today from GLG. I will be sending out the cash tomorrow for that.

I am not giving up yet I still think he could pull threw. Pulling for you Dans.

So I took my dog out side and the snow was over her head. I cleared a spot for her to go to the bathroom and she started jumping threw the snow instead. Then when that was to deep she got out and went to the walk way and pooped there. Never mind the nice grassy spot I cleared. She had to go in the snow that was on the walk way.

the sunshine is still stacked in giant piles in the parking lots around here...should start to melt now that winter is here...

I made chicken noodle soup for dinner and now my dog is staring at me. With the look WTF arent you eating that. Never mind that it is hot enough to melt the chrome off of Dr Purprurs harley.

I was at both the flea market and the farmers market this morning. I saw people wearing filter masks like they do in China.


Im baking a big tray of Yukon Gold potatoes, with Myokos butter, celery salt, fresh cracked pepper, and smoked paprika. Got the fire blazing, free heat from tree trimmings. The dogs love to lay on their memory foam bed in front of the flames

So I just went out to the kitchen and my wife asked if her glasses were out there. I came back into the living room and she starts laughing because she was wearing them.

Dans passed away around 7pm tonight. I was going to see him tomorrow afternoon. I just knew time was short but I never expected the text from his wife.
May he Rest In Peace. I will always remembered him as a generous, fun loving guy.

I'll continue to raise funds and funnel them to his wife.

He's definitely not gone. His here in all of us who experienced his generosity, his tolerance, his trust and his sharing of his life. As long as we keep those parts of Dan with us and hopefuly spead them to others, he will always be here. If we lose his gifts, then yes, he will be gone.

My best wishes to his wife and family.
