March of 2015, I get a call to come see a friend before he passes, went to the doctor with a constant pain in his neck, advanced thyroid cancer, took him in weeks; so sad and lucky both.

Never met him but it sounds like he had a positive effect on many people. Probably the best thing anyone can do is help others.


I do believe I saw a dansbud (either chaos or darlins net) in a jar (nancy nurse's jar) at a party in clio.

I never met Dan in real life. We were not that far away. When I lost my genetics he immediately sent me some clones. Not wanting anything in return, just an address to send and some positive words about building my library up. We communicated through pm quite a bit. Super nice person always willing to share information and tips and tricks. Quick to help others.

You will be missed Dan. May his family cherish his memory and his friends hoist one for Dansbuds.

I was fortunate enough to befriend him for a couple of years ...we did some business, he helped me trim harvests. we traded clones back and forth ....etc he was extremely generous and instantly welcomed me as a friend and turned me onto some hot genetics no questions asked..this is so sad ...its so sobering because life is so fragile... in person he was a gentleman , very friendly and very knowledgeable and he WANTED to share ..the was no sense of elitism in his character 'cause he was a humble guy & grew some fantastic buds ...this is so sad and words are weak ...peace

i can't even remember a time when dan wasn't a part of my threads...so many people have come and gone over the years,dan was always there through all of it...i always joked with him that he was the only reason i kept these threads going,but in some ways it's true..he was always the person everyone liked...
