I would have to think that he would know that eventually it would end up in the wrong hands. I think there are some people that really believe that doing what is better for more people, is more justifiable than following the rules. When you release a cut you fully know that it can be copied and spread farther than you would think. From what I have read so far, I feel he released it ready to deal with those consequences. I also fully respect those that value following the rules higher, it takes all of us.

I feel the same way, but happen to know that some breeders don't want people to make f2's for their friends. IMO its just ridiculous. I personally care more about the evolution of the plants species itself. So if I have a cut of something that if crossed with a friends plant, would produce the cure for cancer. I refuse to stop the forward progression by holding it. No one likes to break their word, but you made a promise to your landlord also. What I am saying is that life is a delicate balance between doing the right thing and survival. What about the promise made to your wife and kids to provide for them?

well, I don't view an opportunity at a time of need as an excuse to overstep restrictions or break my word. that opportunity is only available because of the generosity of a friend to begin with, and that generosity has provided well for me with income prior to the time of need arising...my thoughts are; you make your bed, now lay in it...it's no one's fault but my own that money was tight and I could have used a little extra to get me through...Instead I'll make a plan for today, to make my situation better tomorrow. there will be more money to be made, in ways that honor the wishes of those that were generous. don't get me wrong if I had a strain that cured cancer, it would be spread for the greater good, unfortunately a person liking my plants and wanting a cut is not for the cause of the greater good.

It is a classic ethical dilemma, deontology vs consequeltialism. Some people would never go over there plant counts, no matter how many sick people needed the help. Some people would sacrifice themselves for the greater good. The other option is the moral relativists, that's says do what you want, because that is what's right. I don't even consider the last option even realistic.

^^^i agree with u sir..and I also think glocdoc is on point,,but in all honesty,, I'm not in that much of a struggle when it comes to getting clones.., and never really was.. if I wanted them, I know I could go get them..but 9 times outta 10,, the stuff friends and I have are just as good.. the chem cuts are truly awesome,, but the yields and temperament alone keep em outta my garden..I love smoking them . Some of the best for my chronic pains.. but yeah,, some may think I'm sounding entitled or whatever,, really I'm just expressing how I feel about hoarders,, it's a silly practice to me.. we would all be way further along in the game if all genetics were out there, the way it was intended by baby Jesus himself..

then it would all come down to who grows the strains best...
Just my views, never said they were right.. but all in all..
It's not that serious,,, PEACE

agree with you here... what cuts are en par in your eyes or better.. yield wise.. just curious.. so many good strains out there

I'm a diesel lover.. the yeilds are the best for A grade meds..
The glue is another example.. yields better than chem. And is a great pain reliever just like chem.. I love the ogs too, but yeilds are depressing compared to others,, just my opinions tho,, everyone's got a different chemical makeup, etc...
PEACE

What an excellent thread. I read the whole thing and it took me about three days. Actually I don't know how long it took, I just started reading page one and kept going until I finished. Between I would put it down all blurry eyed and start where I left off next time I logged in. Nice work friends. You filled some more holes on another popular strain. ICmag is the best at that for some reason.

What do u guys think of insane seed possys chem 91 bx2 or green man organics chem 91 bx1 as I have a pack of both on the way

tempa, I did some plant sitting for a friend who was and is still growing, ISP's Chem 91 bx2. He gave me some of the bud right after Christmas. IMHO they were real easy to tend and frosty as they come. I smoked some with my uncle, who is a serious DeadHead. First words out of his mouth " Holy shit this tastes just like Pbud, fucking A Pbud ". After one joint, we were both tore up for hours. He went on about how he hadn't smoked anything as good as it, since the 80's. I don't know why folks on here argue and fight over plants so much. One guy claims to have the only 91 cut, then bashes everyone elses. Folks take sides, and troll and hate on others. IMHO I think there are plenty of 91 cuts that are legit and in circulation. I don't think anybody has the only one and if they do, hoarding is wrong. Share with your brother, that's the way it should be. I also think repeating negative stuff, you don't know for a fact, an absolute fact, is Bad Karma.

I have a question regardin this Chem'91 cut:
is possible that this cut had been called Original diesel from the NY crew, when it reached there?

Definitely.

Its still called Diesel to this day for the most part.

Well im royally confused.
According to the chem history the original diesel is
Chem 91 x skunk/ nl then the sour diesel was a chem 91 x skunk/ nl x dnl.
After the dnl Hermed the room.

But on that Allen Dunn show all the old heads say diesel and 91 chem are the same.
And that the sour was a " lucky lottery ticket that someone cashed in."
( bagseed found in 91?)

So which is it?

By me

Diesel usually means Chem 91.
Original diesel is Headband

Now a days there's too many seed bank copies and bagseed versions running aroundits hard to keep track unless you know who you're getting it from or growing it yourself.

No not by you, by them. Aka the creators/ finders of the strain.
Chemdog, p bud, JJ ,AJ et al

If you listen to the interview no one mentions anything weasel did.
But JJ has talked about the whole dnl Hermie thing on here but didn't
Mention it in the show. Just seems odd. If weasel did create original diesel
Then accidentaly made the sour why not credit him for it
Instead they said oh someone just got lucky and found a bagseed.

What I can say is that the chem 91 as shown on this forum, these particular pics do not look anything like the Original Diesel that we in the UK got from DNA. The Chem 91 looks ALOT better.
