Valid point. That seemed to be the trend around that time and he played a big role in selecting sweetness as much as anyone. When the "breeding out the skunk for sweet" talks happen, he isnt above being slated for that.Some might want to note the fruity skunk smell even Nev was looking for.... Hell he even selected for sweetness with the AfghanT and S but others get slated for that hmmm
I still appreciate the work that he and other breeders did at that time. I was young so I wasn't a part of the hey day, just following the path they paved and retracing some of their steps.
Found this post about a month after I picked up the Super Skunk. He claimed that his original Super Skunk had the traits that many of us have been searching for, and that Afghan T was the skunk archetype. So his knowledge can still (hopefully) point us in the right direction.
