90s (Super) Skunk

Some might want to note the fruity skunk smell even Nev was looking for.... Hell he even selected for sweetness with the AfghanT and S but others get slated for that hmmm
Valid point. That seemed to be the trend around that time and he played a big role in selecting sweetness as much as anyone. When the "breeding out the skunk for sweet" talks happen, he isnt above being slated for that.

I still appreciate the work that he and other breeders did at that time. I was young so I wasn't a part of the hey day, just following the path they paved and retracing some of their steps.

Found this post about a month after I picked up the Super Skunk. He claimed that his original Super Skunk had the traits that many of us have been searching for, and that Afghan T was the skunk archetype. So his knowledge can still (hopefully) point us in the right direction.

Beautiful flowers, the "roadkill" is stunning, really nice flowers. I have no idea if i'd like the smells of those buds but they look really great, too bad i have no way to smell through my screen because it makes me really curious;

Thanks they're some healthy plants and looking really good at this stage. You wouldn't expect them to smell like they do based on the looks. It's a very strong skunk smell.

I have a Chunky Skunk from Sagarmatha who looks very promising and I love the smell I get from a stem rub. She’s in the first days of 12/12 and I hope she’ll grow some buds as good as yours

Haven't heard that name in a long time. Sounds like a great strain to grow. Would love to see how that turns out, keep us posted!

Appreciate that, just keep them healthy and let them do all the heavy lifting.

I have not grown a skunk since 2008 I think and this plant is really checking all the right markers for a good old Dutch Skunk who have always been a favorite of mine
This is a few pictures of her on the 1st day of 12/12 she had only 5 weeks of veg under a small 100w LED but shés extremely vigorous. I took some clones and I hope they’ll make some roots

Nice it sounds really good, hopefully you find a keeper. It's looking healthy so that's a plus.

Dr. Atomic's Atomic Shiva has Super Skunk in its genetic makeup. I think this pheno is an SS leaner; curious what others familiar with SS think...

Smells great, tastes really good and smokes great. A sample of this was said to be better than two phenos of AB G-13 Bx that was described as FIRE reminiscent of smoke from the '90s.

This plant is looking really good, to me it reminds me more of a Skunk#1 pheno than a SS one because of its leaves and her look outdoor.
I thought Shiva was NLxSk#1 at like the Sensi version is like this
