Hey wats up ppl.. Im new here and found this 400 watt club and decided to post my pics. Here is my Aurora Indica @ 4.5week flowering.

This is my 2nd grow so far. I have 5 plants under my 400 watter..

So I decided to re-arrange my grow room...I have about 150cubic feet((3.2ft wide x 6ft long x 8ft high)to play with ...

I moved my old dresser to the front and made the entire back the grow area, as opposed to having the dresser in the back...Here is the result:


There are a lot less bends in the ducting, which did help a bit...now my temps only go up around 2 degrees instead of 3 - 4 with the 400w MH. I'm also going to put some reflective material in there as well.

Here is what I am using:
Xtrasun switchable 400 ballast
Cooltube w/6 inch opening
Phillips 400MH
Prolumen 400HPS
6inch 400cfm inline fan

I also have a carbon filter, which is not in place yet -- used it for my last grow and it worked amazing. Plenty of fresh air comes in from the room door, and the door is usually open / cracked.

heres my 400 watt set up. 440 cfm vortex inline fan, carbon filter and a cool tube. this is my flower chamber i have a box for my mothers. the strains im running is super lemon haze and red diesel.i use all ebb and flow systems. well heres the pics:

im planing on flowering about 12 or so the go around these where my mother plants and the got to big so i decided to flower them to get some smoke but i have plenty of clones...

Here is my 1st real grow attempt and almost at harvest(never achieved this stage before), all are @ 45 days but 2 of them(few more weeks for them).
400HPS, 1 gal pots FFOF, Earth Juice nutes, Beastie Blooms, ph'd well water, hand watered every other day(as needed per plant), 72-78F temps .
Inventory includes, Casey jones, Bubba Kush, LA Conf.,Purple Urkle, Grape Ap[e, GranFlora, Auroa Indica, & an unknown, maybe a White Widow stray....anyways I'd like to go from a "D" on this grow to a "B" or better on all my next, and with all the help here it is an achievable goal!!!


Again lots of room for improvement, but after fighting all kinds of crap and making so many newb mistakes, I am sure I will be satisfied with even this lesser grow!!!

So here's my little clusterfuck of a grow. It's one White Widow plant, grown from seed, vegged for about 60 days. In week 6 of flower. Used CMH for veg, am using HPS for flower. Might switch back to CMH for finishing. I also got a couple Reptisun 10.0, 48 inch, 36 watt bulbs for the UVB. GH nutes.


I made a lot of newb mistakes. First mistake was buying seeds from amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com, shitty germ rate, all but one was male. Hmmm, what else, lets see...used tap water at first, then found out it's about 700 ppm. Then I transplanted into perlite/sphagnum without checking the pH of the resulting soil. Eventually found out it was about 5.0 So then I threw a whole shitload of dolomite in there. That pretty much raised the pH beyond repair. Tried to FIM it, ended up topping it. Had a few 100 degree days which stressed it. Then I let it veg too long and had to transplant into an 18 gallon rubbermaid. And last but not least I let it grow kind of lopsided.

Hopefully I won't fuck up smoking it.

hey can anyone tell me how hot my 400 bellast should be getting cause it seems to get hot to touch on the underside and i constantly worry bout having an electrical fire or something,its on a tile floor that is always cold. and the room that its in never reaches 30degrees c
should i be worried if my ballast getting hot?

If its on a tile floor you should be good. If you have a magnetic ballast, it will get hot and you prolly won't be able to place your hand on it. set it up on a brick to get some air moving around it. You will be alright. No worries.

HASHIT just my opinion.......you would get a better spread of light if you turn it 90 degrees.
