this looks great... I am posting somewhat randomly in this thread... I am about to get back into the swing of things after three years away from it. I thought that I would post in a thread that was active with strong growers in a similar situation to me.... however, I think that I will have two 600 W's going.. but it is early to say...

is it not ok to not have ventilation ducts for my closet grow, im setting everything up and i really dont wanna have to cut a hole in my door/wall for an intake/exhaust fan. if it comes down to it i can leave to door open for a while during the plant's light peroid, im gunna be picking up a 400 for my 4 by 4 closet, its been bugging me lately knowing that ventilation is gunna be an issue

I dont have any holes on my closet, i Usually leave the sliding door half way open with a floor fan blowing in from one side, i can feel the air coming out out of the other. My temps stay 3 degrees higher then the room temp. Oh, I alson put up some curtains so I wouldnt be exposing too much light.

I also have that ventilation problem. They way I rig it is by having a fan blowing up top (screwed to the roof or wall, or set on a high desk above the light) pointing out of the closet and keeping another fan on the floor pointing toward the plants in the closet. Keep the door open too. Since hot air rises and cold air sinks the fan up top is blowing out hot air while the one on the floor is blowing in cooler air. Works good for me

here is my 400 watt scrog i did before last winter...i did it in my closet wih a carbon filter and what not.......i yielded about 6 oz out of 5 plants..it was bag seed of some middies i got and i cut these 5 clones to make this scrog:

i have seedligs about ready to go into the hydro system under 3 t12 for my mother plants....
2 super lemon haze 2 red diesel and 2 seeds a growin buddy gave me..i plan on cutting clones and doing a sog under my 400 i have a 3x3 flood tray ready i just need to find out haw many i can actually get under that 400...ive seen 25 but im thinkin like 16..single cola plants

Mine is 4ft wide 2 ft deep. 8sqf for 50 watts per square foot. Average 6 plants at a time in a perpetual grow.

hey iv been settin up a cab 1.1x1.1x2.5 single 400 hps 25cm exhaust with regular pedistal fan,room stays at aroun 27 degrees c and about 60% humidity. im only using this for flowering as i have a cupbourd tube flouro set up thet i can veg and clone in. any suggestions would be good use to me as it will be my first indoor flowering setup.

also not sure to grow a single plant in say a 5-6 gal pot or cram in as many 1gallon pots as i can,as i have about thirty ready to go if i take this route. any body ever compared yeild using a single 400 and these two methods???????????

your talking meters right? unless you wanna veg 1 plant for a long fucking time go with 1 gallon pots and fit as many as you can. u could also do 4 plants in bigger pots and tye the branches back. i've tried them all, all work ok, it's just the veg time with fewer plants that suck.

well i get em like 40-45cm in my veg cab under grow lamp extreme blue lumin 18/6 about 2n a half weeks from bein g potted after rooting,then i was gonna go to 1 gal when i flower. is that a bit too tall to be flowering using that method since the 400 prob wouldnt penetrate a canopy that deep???
