300w LED organic noob journal

And a few closeups - told you I felt like showing them off!! I know I am biased though...!

The two are defintiely extremely different looking plants, so far definitely different volumes as well!

And one of quite a few mid-branch cheeky "mini-cola" forming

Oh - on top of all teh visual appeal, let me fill you in with the smell!!! They are smelling more and more every day, it's absolutely delicious!! the WW has more of a citrusy/diesly/cheesy smell, the AK x WW is just pure sweet, smells like fruit candy!

I have noticed the first signs of a tiny bit of N def...is it worth giving it a small N tea or should I just let it go through its natural senescence cycle - not sure if it's too early or not? The WW x AK should go another 3-4 weeks.

Glad to hear it! Are you going to get a journal going as well? Thanks by the way :)

I thought about it but maybe once I get it a bit more refined, really nothing worthy of posting yet compared to others on here.

Really grateful though people share their info/knowledge, it's been helping.

So you continually LST them throughout flowering as well? I was debating on how long to keep doing it on mine.

Also you're only running one 300w LED?

I currently have a 480w Mars Reflector with 9 plants in their 3rd week of veg, gonna have to get some more lighting soon I feel.

Hi mate, i'd disagree - it's always worth putting a grow up! :) one gets different inputs along the way, even when things are going well! In fact, probably more inputs when one doesn't go really well :D
Plus..if I didn't disagree..I'd still have to start a journal - lol
mine not been exactly super (first ones that make it through since i started indoors!), but it's been enjoyable putting the posts and pics up nonetheless - i don't think people here are judgemental, thiugh of course there'll always be the one or two...so, if you ever change your mind, let me know - i'll be subscribed! ;)
But...grtting to ur question...I have done a bit of lst throughout flower..i dunno how much it stunted them by, prob a little, but i did not want them too tall anywya..i was planning that size (but 3-4 of them instead - watch next grow! ;) ), only have a small 60x60 space, only one 300w budmanster og in there. I do have a 300w reflector too..but tbh, if i can get the budmaster a few jnches further up, i am happy if i can replicate what i am hoping to get off this grow..but 2x ! It will be plenty for my needs :)
What strains are you growing?

I understand where you are coming from. Being humble I find is generally a good place to be in life in general :)

But glad I convinced you to post a journal - never heard of your strains before and I have to say they look good!

WEEK 7 (8 from Switch)

OK, I am back from hols and luckily all is well! PHEW! All went as planned, and they are almost ready to pick! :plant grow:

Both plants are really using up stored nutes from the leaves, looks like autumn! The WW seems to have been low on potassium is my guiess, buds nowhere near teh density or quantity of the WW x Afghan Kush...not that I'll complain if it tastes nice!!

Anyways..last photos before cut I think...trichomes on WW are about 20%, so tomorrow night I will prob make a start on her, and push the WW x AK till weekend, only just started ambering! :tree:

Anyways..here are some photos!

THE END :)

OK, so I couldn't push it any longer. In hindsight, before going on holiday, I should've given them one last shot of nutes - that would've both bulked plants up and allowed me to run them another couple of weeks, which I reckon the WW x AK in particular would've appreciated...trichomes were about 10%, but I was getting a little nervous with some leaves maybe rotting and causing bud rot - so thought I'd go ahead! :)

Anywya, final weights were WW 13g and AK x WW 33g. I was hoping about double that, but to be fair I dropped a few bol*#kcs and also the above-mentioned issue...

On the plus side, both plants I kept to exactly the max size I wanted...going with 3 next...and if I ace it again (the size of plant, not quantity! :D), then 4 plants to finally max out that space (need to ensure I can manage humidity on way as well).

I can report the WW is as lovely and pungent as ever, becasue it was a little airy it's already smokable - though most is in a jar and will put it through its paces.

I will let you have a smoke report in a couple of weeks...along with a link to my new grow: Amnesia Lemon, Berry Bomb (reg...) and Ice Kush :)

So, was the marshydro 300 junk? Just asking as I inherited one and was thinking about using it for something, maybe just veg or supplement my 400w hps.

Asolutely not junk - just not quite as simple to tune in as the budmaster! There were some errors on my part with the mars hydro and i am positive i wiuld have had decent results with them in that given grow. The spread on the mars hydro i better, but then the penetration is non comparable really. Personally, if u have the space (with 400w i am guessing u have enough?, i would supplement..both veg and flower!! :)

smoke report

smoke report

Ok, took me a while to get round to this, but here we go!

So, starting with the WW, there is not much to say that has not been said on this lovely strain! Smoke is very dense, which i was a little surprised aboit due to airy buds. Flavour is just..WW! Strong, pungent, hints of citrus - a real treat! High was impressive, not superstrong but good enough to stop wanting to do most things and jyst chill for a few hours! Overall I will give it a 7/10, but only cos i didnt get buds quite right with density :)

Ok, WW x AK...i don't know how to put it in words, it was that good! Smoke was dense yet not heavy on lungs. Falvour is out of this world: a mixture of minty/citrus/flowery i have not come across before, something really special! As for strength, it is very "head" high as opposed to "body" . That said, i did pick it a little earl, but i am not complaining at all, i prefer that! yll in all...a good 9/10...but on flavour it's a 10!!!:)

All for now....any questions, fire away. I will post link to new grow when i get round to posting forum!

hi lunix they look really nice mate hat off to you sir, ive only ever grown big plants in tents usually vegging for 3weeks but recently decided to utilise some dead space an built a bit of a stealth cupboard your girls look the ideal height to cope in there i was just wandering what your topping/bending technique was and how long your veg time was.

Hi mate, thanks for compliments, sorry for late reply! Been enjoying the fruits of my labour a little too much...that AK x WW was just yummie!!! :D

Hoping it's not too late, I controlled plant height through defoliation - there's a thread on here that is a sticky, for small spaces it's been great, along with supercropping and lst :) I have a second lot on the og, I will post a link shortly in the last pos, still fitting in there nicely..in fact I reckon I can get 4 in tehre. I know some people would prefer 2 bigger ones, but I like different strains and...I also feel I hedge my bets a little better :)

Anyways...hope you lpost a link or let me know when you're ready to go!
