300w LED organic noob journal

I wasn't knocking it at all don't think that haha. But ya I'd run 2 PHENOs, ones with vigorous veg, scrog the whole cabinet and wham! Lol. Just feel like running the LED and only get 3 oz is a little eh. I'm making a computer case grow with CFL as we speak and plan on getting at least 1-2 oz off it. ill post it in my thread

but as for first grow sounds like your on the right track!!! Looking forward to pics!

Hi mate, thx very much for the encouragement!! I am saying 3oz...but secretly hoping for 5-6....we shall see!! If. I keep getting good tips I should be ok

Let me know when you r doing the PC case....REALLY interested in that...even if only for vegging!!

10oz would work at around 1gpw....i dumno if I can quite go for that on a first grow...but I hope your wish comes about!!

If you were running them in 3 gallon pots, did a little LST on em, you might be close lol. Also depends on the strain. Let's see that picture

Looks good bub, will be nice when those LED go in there! You sure you can't fit the 3 gallons in there? It looks like it lol

They prob woul but i am concerned of canopy as it us, maybe i can contain growth a little?
If comfy with it, next grow it will be 3gal

Yes you can LST them without a doubt. I know guys that even clip 2-3 leaves every couple days to get light to bottom.

As far as the 30-32 watt led? Gotta remember autos are on a set schedule. They grow fast. 7-10 days in mine were 3-4" tall. They seemed to stop a bit and create root system after that. But how close are you keeping it?

Many thanks!! I have heard they are now comparable to photos for flavour and strength, so I thought I'd give them a try...nice to know others have enjoyed it!!

Will be away a few days while they should be sprouting...saves me from over-loving them!!

Lol lots of old school guys love taking leaves off. He does it with autos also. But ya I'd be cautious I dont do it but thats just me. Lol I rather tie it down a bit to get the penetration needed.

Did you order the light from Sara? Or did you go right through the sight. I ordered my light when it was still TOPLEDLIGHT. I had no troubles getting it, but im in USA so maybe thats why.

I did notice from your pics, it looks like an awesome spread of intense light!! how far do you keep yours at this stage? And are you running both lighting modes?

Lol, i won't be too disappointed if they started without me...it will mean a few days' less wait at the other end!! i am hoping they are kind enough to give me four surprises!!

For veg I keep them at 14". And flower about 10-12. Right now I am running both, but for first two weeks I just ran veg, you'll see white hairs pop and that's when know switch.

If you look at my other posts, or under hydro section. Called "400w hydro grow" I switched to the LED, 36x30 scrog. 1 plant, was almost 4 ft tall, stem was almost inch thick.

I so want to do a SCROG soon...I just like the look of the plants so much!!

Today I am going back to see my babies!!

Hope they have popped up to greet me!! Also going to get my new light (hoping the neighbours are at home!)...final piece to the jigsaw!
