Swapped out the SS100 for the SS260 to reveg both plants, and unknowingly managed to knock off the tubing feeding the totes.

2G+ of fresh nutes wasted inside the tent floor. Good thing I have a shop-vac.

Also, got a recipe for using +Size during flower, so will be mixing it up for the couple small plants that are finishing up now

nice! a couple of zips and them some.

Thanks. A friend saw her 2 months ago, when she was at her low point health-wise (she did not like DM Zone at all), and said I should pull her.

Needless to say he was shocked to see her just before harvest.

55gms is better than no gms
:woohoo:

Exciting to see BM reveg is finally showing new growth. It makes sense as the neodymium magnets are more powerful although much smaller in size than the iron magnets

MR (MidNight Rider) has been showing new leaf AND pistils for over a week

The 4 Sat plants plants finishing in the other tent, under 2 SS 150s, are fattening up nicely. I turned off the white on one panel to add more reds

What do magnets have to do with reveg??

Thanks for dropping in.

Magnets are not just for reveg

Instead of me attempting to go into a lengthy dissertation that will surely leave you with more questions, do some research

There are some very fascinating YT videos

Of course, there are YT videos but all lack any proper explanation.
From what I seen it's just placebo, no more no less.

I prefer research papers over YT videos but thanks for the reply.

Placebos? There is sufficient YT videos with scientific data

Seems you didn't look to hard

Then don't do it

I won't argue over scientific methodology, just sayin YT videos are not relevant in my opinion.
And if there was a bit of truth in magnet use, it would be common knowledge not a domain for believers.

I'll rather read papers than watch videos:)

I know this thread has drifted from SS300 > SS 150 > SS 260 > SS150 and back to SS 300ish, but it was easier than starting new threads

The nearly abandoned MNR clones are mere shadows of their donor, but as you can see they have plumped up, and continue to. In an effort to reel in the new top growth I clipped the 3 biggest

Also the reveg is interesting in that the MNR (left), which was put into reveg ~ 17 days later than BM (right) has taken off, but BM remains barely alive.

They are both being fed from the same rez, under the same SS 260

I should have left more leafs/buds on the plant

As you can see the MNR reveg is coming along

That said, I wish there were more branches developing similar to the top branch. She is already showing pistils, even though I only added the extra reds this morning, and she's only getting < 450ppm nutes.

Hmm

Maybe the neodymium magnets are super-energizing the nutes. The website shows videos of commercial crop growers using less fertilizer and water, so...

I didn't bother to take a pic of BM as nothing has changed, however, here' a pic of the neglected MNR clones.

No where near as tight buds as their donor (revegging), but there will be a fair amount of enjoyable smoke to be had with a bit more patience.

One thing I was curious about the reveg is how the new primary leafs would look. Originally, she had single blade leafs

Neglected Clones

I had lengthened feed cycles to 4 hours but noticed after a few days that leafs were dieing. I went back to ~ 1 hour, and leafs are doing much better

Demo Units at Discount Price. Full warranty

Giving you growers a heads up.

I am returning my SS 260 and 2 @ 150s to be replaced with new units as they don't want too many hours on them, although seems moot to me, but it will be a good deal for someone who otherwise can't afford them.

Mine are going back Tuesday. They will be inspected before selling

Contact Amare for pricing

Boxing the 260 and 2 @ 150s to send back tomorrow

Since it's going to be a few weeks before I get new panels I dusted off my BML SPYDR 600 (~330w) to finish the MNR reveg

The SPYDR diode blend I selected is very sat friendly, so it should be great, plus, the extra ~70w can't hurt, although those watts are spread out over ~ 18" x 36", and the reveg footprint is ~ 1 x 1

Planning to move the MNR clones under it today as well, even though they are near done

Will post pics Thursday

Amare may kill me for this LOL, but it is what it is

Growers who don't follow me need to know, I report the facts. Although I weaseled my way into being a lowly tester, worthwhile criticisms/ideas I have voiced have been acted on by Amare, but not BML. So take that for what its' worth

The S600 has been idle for ~ a year now while I put the Amare's through their paces of several full grows and a partial reveg

As I mentioned, I packed up my Amare panels (I hear the 260 has already been spoken for) so I hooked up my BML SPYDR 600 with diode selections I chose in an effort to create a single SPYDR for both veg and bloom. Keep in mind BML is NOT cannabis specific company. You need to know what spectrum balance you want. Not for the faint of heart Anyway, I chose a very sat friendly spectrum blend.

My version of the S600 is much better for flowering than vegging, but a pretty decent balance when needing a one light fits all that covers 2 x 4 quite respectably. However, IMO they were high priced for what they did not offer 2 years ago at $999 (had they listened to me), and now are essentially the same, but now cost $1499, and are not cannabis specific

You need to choose your own diodes. Cool if you know how, but not otherwise

For cannabis growers $1500 buys a lot of led panels specifically designed for growing cannabis.

Back to the grow: Whereas the mother and now reveg was grown under an Amare Solar spec 260, as of yesterday, she will finish under the BML SPYDR 600, as will the MNR clones, although they have days to harvest

The S600 has >10% more watts, BUT, no secondary lenses. To compensate, I lowered it to ~ 12"

Most importantly, the SS 260 is just $645. 2 @ 260s would kill a 4 x 4, maybe even a 5 x 5, and still be > $100 less .

Fully expanded to 3 x 3 the SPYDR falls well off the umoles cannabis flourishes at. However the S600 has very good/excellent 2 x 3 coverage

Will the SPYDR 600 @ 2.5 times the price be 2.5 times as good?

Seems like a TALL order

Stay tuned

Pics taken today. Note the BMLs 6 bars are staggered to minimize the venetian blind effect created because the diodes repeat their order every 12". So when mixing 450nm + 5000K + 3000K + 630, each of those line up exactly in the same position on all 6 bars creating lines of spectrums, minimizing homogenization. Staggering each bar minimizes that
