Just finished the revamp on my room. Gotta say thanks to Jack for answering all my questions!! :tiphat:Installed a/c so I can run Co2 properly. Built two 4x8 drain to waste tables on wheels so I can easily access far side of table for working on plants and training.Adjustable SCROG tables incorporated into each table. Four 8 port drip manifolds per table, 2 drippers per 2 gallon smart pot. 15 pots per table. 3 Gavita 1000's hanging above!! Transplanting clones into pots on thursday and then firing up the new system :woohoo: Been ALLOT of work but thinking it will be well worth it! Plan on Feeding H&G Base with Aptus 1-2 times a week. Sea Green with Base once a week. OG Biowar Tea Once a week. Lets see how she turns out!

Hey Jack, Thanks for all the info. Like always, it is very much appreciated. Ive got a quick one.

Im switching from preveggin in my tent (then transplanting to the beds) to veggin in my coco beds. I was hoping I could use T5s or 400 / 600 watt bulbs for the veg stage then switch out for 1000 watt bulb for the flip. Do you think this would be fruitful? If you had to pick one 600, 400, or T5 which one would it be? MH or HPS? Thanks for your time, it is sincerely appreciated. To be able to come on here and post a question to someone of your caliber makes this an awesome forum. Big Ups, for the help!
The beds do way better if you veg in the beds not pre veg some where else if you pre veg you should use smart pots or pots, As far as Veg lights go bigger is always better a Badboy T5 12 or 24 light set up will produce some bushy plants but 1000 watt bulb is really hard to beat for veg and flower we veg with the same hps 1000 watt bulb as we flower with we veg and flower in the same room. If I had to pick one I would use a T5 Bad boy or a 600 watt with a conversion bulb for veg.

hps

hps

jack do u use hps in veg because of the more stretch obtained by the plants or just to save $ on bulbs, we just did testing w new mh 7500k spectrum bulbsthat blew eye horti mh outta the water . so i have mh and hps and its not an issue for me to swap bulbs w adjustawings. thanks again

would love to see more pics of that grow COkushin...specifically the infrastructure setup. interesting because most warehouses ive seen are framed out rooms inside of the warehouse, havent seen one where they just hang all the lights off the roof, was there any issues with light leaks and such? also looks like jacks skips the aircooling which is something i would like to copy, no need for all that ducting save some headache. adjustawings look real easy for breakdown and storage as well if you need to move shop...i hate moving around traditional hoods, need a whole box truck just to move 20 hoods.

this is an outdated grow..the investors shut it down although it was a licenced facility the ogden report made them nervous.thus we closed shop. and yes non air cooled hoods are the way to go, it all starts w a proper hvac. glass is a pain in the ass. cleaning and lumen loss works against ya when your trying to max out all parameters. as far as more pix i doubt i will b posting as things havent changed much on these forums alota hyperinflated egos and argumentative peeps. peace

Lots of kids with egos, but there's more mature people around if you know where to look for us. We tend to stick to our own little corner of the world for the exact reasons you mention.

Thanks  The contest was a joke... I went to the thrift store and bought a used trophy wrote with a sharpie Grow of the year JACKMAYOFFER, I even gave myself some seeds from my own seed collection..

:tiphat:

Sore loser much? There goes that nasty attitude I referred to. That statement is disrespectful to everyone. PK deserved to win as much as you did and his attitude is way better...

It's not ironic you won't find any of this garbage in his thread.

Learn to have some class, you don't have to bad mouth people because you didn't get your own way...

It was a fucking contest giving away seeds do you really think I care? I said it as a joke. Now quit trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't post on my own grow log.. You already took the time to point out you don't like it during the contest so fuck off..I came here to share what I have learned and I do just that this thread is a whole lot more then in ad for a nute company So unless you run this site and want to remove me then remove your self. But you can sit on the side lines and keep on hating ...

Hating implies jealousy, no jealousy here, in fact I complimented you on a nice grow. That being said your attitude is piss poor, you prove that yourself repeatedly.

Rock on, you won't see me in here any more.

I am not trying to take away anything from PK but, lets be real.
I learned absolutely nothing from his thread. The amount of
experimenting that Jack did compared to PK is not even
comparable. PK's room is a part time job. Jacks is not. If
Jack's thread was a book I would buy it. If PK's thread was a
book I would not even read the dust jacket. I am not trying
to get in argument. Just trying keep Jack from abandoning
this thread, there has been way to much noise in it lately.
And imagine it is getting pretty old from his prospective. There
are some of us here that really use it as a tool.

At the end of the day jack none of this matters in our real lives.
It should just be about caring and sharing. If the fun is gone u shouldn't hesitate to move on.

Ur a good dude and the last thing I want to see is these idiots getting u all upset. Everyone is an expert and everyone knows it all.

Ignore Ignore thats my advice nothing drives them more crazy then waiting a day or so for your next responce and them not even in it.

Jack I am here to learn , I have read the thread twice now before asking this,

How are you dealing with the smell?

I saw you said 2 filters you use are good, but which ones do you use , how many, what sizes for your setup,

Plase dont shut this wonderful thread down with great knowledge being shared by you over a few idiots who are wasting your perious time and energy. You will be missed by many.

Thanks in advance Jack

Peace

hi

hi

Hi Jack first of all Im a big fan of your nute and medium experiments. Thanks for letting us in on how they do it biig and efficient! Ive grown many runs with different levels either just FN bloom alone or as a booster in addition to weaker nutes organic like it really makes buds go crazy but FN is pretty hot. big fan of the Roots organic soil with BBiz nutes doesnt get more smelly and tastier then that! But back to my question: How did your BB base nutes with roots soil vrs. FN base nutes roots soil run turn out?any pics of finale any taste jump with BBiz tables ? no worries on the pics but it excited me to see those two side by side real good stuff your covering here though great work! Thanks,

Red

Thanks for your advice. I am switching from prevegging in smart pots to veggin in the beds from your earlier comments. I already have the hoods hung over the beds and am rocking 1000 watt hps for bloom. Just really trying to save on the electric bill, which would not be a problem if I can hit my 2 per light goal.

Figured running 600 watt or t5 might be a little more cost effective for the 18 hours of veg. I think I will differ to your knowledge and just rock my 1000s for veg. Do you think there is a hands down difference between 1000s and 600s for veg?

Funny thing I'm so close to shutting down this thread its a lot of work I don't need.. And with out being abel to rid all the bullshit its becoming pointless. The time I spend on here I could post some where else where there is zero drama...

Noooo..... I understand haters. But take their hate as a compliment. When your on top everyone wants to take you down. Either way, Ive found a great knowledge in your posts. Like homeboy said before, I would buy your book. Hell, I already redesigned my whole room to this thread, and it is looking better than ever. So thank you for helping all of us out, and keeping it real. :tiphat:
