Nice ChemChunk nugs, Jack.

Still planning on running some H&G base at some point? Are you familiar with Shooting Powder? If so, any thoughts on it?

YP: what size freebies did they give out?

I got these in the Joe Schmoez auction at the Farm a couple years back. Only 2 seeds popped and both Phenos where great and I have ran them every run since. I have 2 Phenos one more Chem 4 with a hint of color and another thats turns purple no matter what and is done in 50 days both are great yielders and the easiest plants to trim every thing is frosty its a purple version of the White. The only person I ever gave her to to was True Grit but he lost it :comfort:. But I will get it back to him once hes ready. She is special and I would like to share her with our community..:woohoo:Hey Karma I got a bunch of your seeds going into the flower rooms will get some pics when they start showing there true colors.

Ya shes the easiest plan to grow and trim she suscks it scrog her branches are so thick but does great in SOG Topping is a must. There is nothing green on her after day 40.

Great work

Will you be running Aptus with H&G coco base nutes?
Yes with Aptus and with out both using Hpuse and Garden as base one room will get Aptus and House and Garden the Other will get House and Garden plus Moab Hammer head . Both will get weekly tea brews.
This thread is great. I am learning all kinds of neat stuff!
Thanks Bro...:woohoo: The roots this round are insane like nothing we have ever seen its taken us double the normal time to pull all the roots after harvest the tea is working!! The Start boost in combo with the tea causes the roots to just explode..The beds seem to get better and better every run..

Yessir....... it Seems by the 3rd run or so the plants really start loving the coco

Im Curious to see how you like the H&G. Ive been running it for years it just seemed like the logical choice to me after trying so many other base nutes. It's very PH stable with my water, seems the PH is always 5.9-6.2 which is perfect for coco IMHO.

I pretty much stick to A/B and MOAB for first two weeks of flower. Then I use advanced big bud weeks 2-6 then MOAB or overdrive for weeks 6-8, then flush. Never thought of using the hammerhead though.

What dosage rates do you use it at and when do you start using it?

Basicly the same thing you do except week 5-7 or 8 depend on strain Moab at 5 tabelspoons per 100 gallons and HammerHead at 2.5 ml per gallon and of course cut base nutes in half.

I am experiencing the same pH stability. Seems like its better now than the first round of H&G nutes I bought when I started with hydro. Just the other day i was mixing up a batch and it just seemed to dial right into 5.8. After it runs thru the coco, it goes up a bit, but never past 6.0 or so. I was wondering if they are working in some of that AN style, "pH perfect" witchcraft...

Is MOAB (i am looking at the mad farmer product) really the same shit as shooting powder? The difference in cost is astounding.

Ive read all the way up to page 20 and had to chime in... I havent been growing for 20 years or even 10 years. Ive been growing for 8 years. I grew up working on my parents wholesale Nursery so i do have alot of plant knowledge in general. I would have to say from looking at your grows it is not the nutes or the environment. Although those are the very very important but you my Friend have the genetics everyone Dreams about. No need to doubt this guy his 8 week photos prove that his day 12 flower is no bs. i love when people brag and say i have 20+ years growing who gives a shi* Only the past 10 years is what really counts thats when all the real deal equipment started coming out. I dont think 20 years Ago you had An indoor grow facility like Jack or any of us commercial growers so your 10+ years of outdoors growing doesnt count. Genetics are everything then comes the grower the atmosphere and the nuts. Keep up the good work Jack. I used to post all my grows on overgrow but i now use Youtube GeneseeOG is where you can find me. What state are you in Jack? Colorado here!!!

A friend of mine has a setup similar to jacks. He runs the same strains I do, but his plants at 7 weeks look as mature as mine do at 9 weeks. I think environment is the biggest factor. That amount of light plus co2 and most any strain is going to blow up

It's all genetics. Some of Jack's og strains weren't all that impressive. How about you shoot some of your cuts over to jack, and see if they blow up just by being in his room. I doubt it.

To say that Jack's success is all in the genetics is, well, ignorant. If you think the environment doesn't play a large part in addition to genetics, then you have a bit to learn, I'm sorry to say.

Yes environment is very crucial I'm not doubting that but he or no one can get results like that with average genetics so if you don't think genetics is most important then you have alot to learn my friend. You can't turn a toothless trailer trash whore into a trophy wife is what I'm trying to no matter how much make up you give her period

Since I didn't quote you, it should be pretty clear I wasn't responding to you. I have no issue with what you're saying at all. Rather, the poster I quoted saying it's ALL genetics. To say both genetics and environment don't play a large role is plain wrong.

obviously genetics play a role, but you guys are making it out to seem like Jack has some super strain(s) that yields larger and faster than any others.
