Yes I believe the vents are to disapate radiant heat away from the bulb to extend bulb life. I would think the elimination of more radiant heat should help w heat issues. These lights are for rooms w high btu ac or just a single light n a tent. I have a feeling they will rock. Peace

sup jack! your grows have inspired me so much that i just now converted my grow to a sealed system with co2. i also just purchased aptus' full line up with heavy 16 and also some caps bennies. sorry if you have already answered this many times but i read the first 30 pages of thread and my eyes are about to bleed lol. can you post your full 7 day feeding regimen with aptus, base npk and caps from day 1 to day 7 please? thanks! you and (dutchtouch from another forum) have definitly stepped it up!!! way up! forget all the doubters and haters. thanks again for taking the time to share =o)

I was loving Fasilitor, until I started a side by side using everything at the same levels, replacing Fasilitor with a standard Silica supplement, seems like Fasilitor isn't as cost effective as Aptus claims, running Silica Blast is less than half the cost.

When you say the gavita out performed the adjust o wing, is that to say that 3 gavita's yielded more than 4 adjust o's or just a better GPW ratio?
