Hey Coloradokushin,

What size pump are you using with your fan-jets? I have been having trouble getting them to spray evenly with the top hats on. I'm using a 3/4 hp sump to run 64 of them which is probably a little over kill.

I am interested in this as well. The guys at GreenCoast say a 1/2hp Mondi sump should barely run 64 drippers with high hats on but say it will work. I am using the red "high-flow" drippers and octobubblers.

1 hp pump is what you need for even flow...But it all depends on line size and length of run there is alot more to it then what size pump.. But I have done small set ups all the way to 100 lights with 1 hp pump.

I use a 1/2 hp leader pump for for 96 micro jet sprayers. There are 32 sprayers per table. I have it used with valves so no more than 3 table go off at once. I am using 1 inch pvc and my longest stretch from the pump is 50 feet with 3 feet of head pressure. I got from 1 inch pvc> 1/2 inch flexible black tubing>1/4 inch tubing>microjet sprayer. I run the 1/2 tubing in a complete ring around each table (for even distribution purposes) then punch holes in it and connect my 1/4 inch to it. To ensure for more even better water distribution I installed a check valve before each table. I have never had any issuses with uneven water distribution. I always chose slightly bigger pumps than I need because I can always tighten my valves to reduce pressure. Just remember every check valve , ball valve or electric on/off valve will cause you to lose some pressure. hope this helps some

I had some flow rate hiccups so I drilled the fanjet orrifaces w a 1/16 drill-bit which made a huge difference as I haven't had a clog since and it increased flow rate. . I also put a presuction filter on pump. I am using a 3/4 hp leader240. 16 emitters per 4x4.. It sprays 3 tables w full flow ,if I go over that it has less psi. Thus I put ball valves on each octa bubler riser. For A large facility I would go w jacks pump recommendation. Reeflo pumps are worth checking out as they are super high GPh and affordable. They r made in Colorado. Good luck

So I will b testing the new Phillips light next to adj. wings...I just got them and will post progress reports soon. Peace party people

It sounds like u may have clogged emitters....on the build out watch out for PVC shavings as they can clog the system...I blew mine clear w a air compressor before running water through.

I know peeps use Mondi pumps w fanjets .....doubt the flow rate would b sufficient w 64 emitters w a 1/2 hp Mondi ...but it will for sure run a table or two if u isolate each octa bubbler w ball valves.

We are just testing a few lights for the facility I work at to see how things go. I posted some pix a few pages back. I would put a ball valve to isolate each row of three. I tried a 1.5hp pump and it was blowing the 1/4inch tubing off the octa bubblers and the emitters. I didn't look into pressure regulaters I just used a 3/4hp that was laying around. Good luck

this thread needs its own damn moderator i think.
oh wait, you can filter out all but jack's posts.
it helps to read the first 50 pages regular and the last 85 with all the noise drowned out.

for reals though jack, thanks for the master class.

i've got mixed feelings about the fact that as soon as our thing goes full legal, guys like you are going to be the ones that pfizer and philip morris are going to hire on to consult for ballplayer money.

NICE!! Looks hella frosty!

I just got my sample of Fasilitor, Startboost and Baseboost in!!! Can't wait to do a side by side with and without it... also got the Root pack from Cap...

Lets GO!!!

I recommend going 6to7ml per gal on fasilitor first 3 weeks of bloom to reduce stretch unless that's what u want. Then on the last 2to4 weeks I added a bloom finisher to tighten clusters up. I'm also adding a 100ppm of cal mag botanicare for veg n first 2 weeks until I add mass boost at week 3 i am going to do aptus extreme schedule every other fertigation or so to see the diff. Compared to once a week aptus....also instead of vegging in beds w 1k over every bed I am pre vegging in 4 inch pots of coco for 7to10 days under 3 4 x8 t5 then transplant into beds for 4 or 5 days of veg then flip, it saves a grip in light and cooling costs and also it's working well . Good luck guys

I feel really stoned right now. Tell me that doesnt work out to around $5 a gal worth of fasilitor at $150 per 250ml
So if I water w/1 gal 3-4 x per week x 3 weeks thats somewheres around $50 a plant?

Bloom booster

Bloom booster

I know aptus just came out w a powder booster finisher not sure what its called or the NPk but I think it is similar to shooting powder or Moab. My main concern is residual phosphorous buildup n medium thus depleting the performance of the recycled coco as I have seen probs w reusing coco that's used w shooting powder.

It all depends on Rez size, I'm just experimenting w fasilitor instead of pgrs bushmaster etc.... And its 3 fasilitor applications a week for 3weeks. I'm just trying to see what different capabilities it has at diff. App. Rates n dosages. It definitely has influence over the plant taxanomy and cluster shape and development .and most of all , increased resin production I.e. terpines, flavonoids thus better smells and taste.

I guess that comes to 3.60 per gallon for small bottle but less if u buy the larger bottles which is where u save more on bulk purchase savings. The end product defiantly commands higher price because of increased quality due to aptus. I just need to fine tune a few things, it is still new to me and I believe I can tighten up the efficacy by dialing in app / dosage rates
