3 weeks in with Aptus shits blowing up around here..

I guess that comes to 3.60 per gallon for small bottle but less if u buy the larger bottles which is where u save more on bulk purchase savings. The end product defiantly commands higher price because of increased quality due to aptus. I just need to fine tune a few things, it is still new to me and I believe I can tighten up the efficacy by dialing in app / dosage rates

DEFIANTLY is the right word indeed, sir..

it's called breakout powder 0-35-23 .. 5 100g sachets cost 13.95 not a bad price .. ill have to check it out..

wow fasilitor @ 6ml pr gl is 10x normal dose let us know how that works

i find that once a week did not seem enough i think i'll do 2-3 applications per week next run and i am going to run the peakboost and finaleboost like i normally run a pk boost at week 3 and 5 .. i believe the schedule need a little tweaking also ... i saw an increase in quality but i want to see yield gains and that's where i think modifying the schedule will play a key ...

also got to meet up with coloradokushin ... dude knows his stuff .. very very smart cat his weed is fire

I recommend going 6to7ml per gal on fasilitor first 3 weeks of bloom to reduce stretch unless that's what u want. Then on the last 2to4 weeks I added a bloom finisher to tighten clusters up. I'm also adding a 100ppm of cal mag botanicare for veg n first 2 weeks until I add mass boost at week 3 i am going to do aptus extreme schedule every other fertigation or so to see the diff. Compared to once a week aptus....also instead of vegging in beds w 1k over every bed I am pre vegging in 4 inch pots of coco for 7to10 days under 3 4 x8 t5 then transplant into beds for 4 or 5 days of veg then flip, it saves a grip in light and cooling costs and also it's working well . Good luck guys

Yes, I need to stretch o my Southern Sweet and Purple Goddess strains, they don't stretch much during flowering..

I will be running the Aptus with Canna's Coco A&B..
I've been using Bloombastic along with my current regime, but am thinking maybe I should go back to the PK13/14 with the Aptus?

What do you mean by 1x a week Aptus... you mean apply the Fasilitor once a week, or are you only feeding once a week?

I currently clone and veg under a 4x8 T8 bank, and sometimes veg vertically for about a week... plan to hook up and veg under the 4x8 T5 I got for maybe a week or so once new room in finished... and straight into vert system. Some of my strains like to to stretch some don't...

Guess I'll have to play it by ear, hopefully this time though I can get all my stretchers into the same room... for more equilateral growth... will see..

I was doing the aptus boosters once a week but I feel it can be pushed a little harder, thus I will b applying aptus boosters 3 times a week w h16 base on all daze except for bio tea day which is once a week. if you want them to stretch give them less fasilitor, im trying to reduce stretch thus I will b doubling the recommended fasilator dose the first 3 weeks of bloom. peace

this is the new Phillips light, it uses the same"phillips" bulb as gavit as except Phillips redesigned a ballast and fixture to maximize performance. it is dim capable from 1150 to 1000,825,750,660,and 600 watts. it has a wide footprint and crossprint. the lights are around 550$ and I know way to grow in Colorado sells them as well as dutch touch gardening supplies in cali. I will b testing it next to adj-wings in a couple o weeks. will post progress. let there b light!!!

My experience with Aptus on my last grow is it will not stop stretch. Not even a little. From week 1 of flower to week 3 I did fascilitor 3 times a week at double dose and my plants still stretched like crazy!!! And I'm growing a kush which technically not a stretchy plant!!!

a lot of the stretch is due to the plant densities which are competing for light because of proximity of plants next to each other. if ur plants are og kushes they are inherently stretchy, if they are true"kushes" i.e. indicas, hindu kush mts, afghan, pakis etc they will have tighter internode spacing. good luck

also the temp diff effects internode stretch ...for tightest plants try not to exceed 5deg. Diff. So for tighter plants I run 78 day temp and 73 note temp. The higher the temp diff , the more the stretch because of cell elongation. Peace

i would switch from using bloombastic to using atamis blossom builder the last 2to4 weeks along w aptus and ur base. It's way cheaper also. U will b stoked!

I'm growing rockstar kush. During veg and stretch in flower my daytime temps were 84 and night time temps were 82-84 as I had read keeping night time temps as close as possible to day time temps helps avoid stretch so that's what I did

Have you ever grown this strain before? What do you consider a plant stretching like crazy? And who told you it would stop stretch? So your saying your growing a strain that dosen't stretch but when you double dosed the Fasilitor it made the plants stretch even more then normal?

Not what I'm saying at all jack. Your reading way more into that post than there is. I'd say plants stretch about the same with or without fascilitor.

So what did u not like about the H&G aqua flakes jack?

Keep us updated on e-papillon if you can Kushin.

I found some more info on it if anyone else is interested.

The E-Papillon offers many advantages over conventional luminaires. Quite simply, it uses less energy to produce more light. The E-Papillon enables energy-savings of around 5% - a substantial saving in your energy costs. Furthermore, the specially developed lamps also produce more light. This combined with a reflector yield of 92%, makes the E-Papillon the most energy-friendly fitting currently available in the market.

Lights Interaction has developed a specific lamp holder for the 1000W luminaire in collaboration with Vosloh Schwabe. The lamp in the luminaire cannot be screwed into the normal E40 lamp holder of a conventional luminaire. There are two litz wires at the two ends of the lamp. These have to be clamped in order to obtain a connection. In the E-Papillon 1000W, the voltage supply to the lamp holder is disconnected when the lamp is opened. When pushing shut the lamp holder, a metal clamp grips the litz wire. Our lamp is therefore shock-hazard-protected.

The reflector can be easily placed on and removed from the luminaire. This makes the annual cleaning of the reflectors a very simple operation. If you wish to replace the reflector later on, you can easily remove it from the safety cover and only replace the reflector.

Lights Interaction has consciously chosen this safety cover to avoid dirt accumulation on the top of our reflector. If dirt combines with water on top of the reflector, it may find its way into the reflector through chinks in the reflector. This will lead to streaks of dirt, whereby less light will be reflected. When cleaning the fitting, the cleaning water would also be soiled immediately on contact with the accumulated dirt on top of the reflector.

The safety cover provides a thermal buffer between the hot reflector material and any objects that may fall on top of the fitting. The temperature of the top of the reflector cover can rise to 50°C. Without this reflector cover, the temperature on the top of the reflector may rise to 200°C.

Lights Interaction Agro BV has developed a new bracket for electronic luminaires in collaboration with Blok’s Draadvorm bv in The Hague. The bracket can be easily pushed in and fixed in place immediately without the need to turn nuts or bolts. For installers, the new bracket means considerable labour-savings.

Apart from a number of standard-size wire brackets, Lights Interaction can also offer tailor-made sizes in consultation with the customer. An example of this is the extended bracket.

The electronic luminaires are now a little smaller. In other words, they block less light. All in all, this luminaire offers an optimum solution and is ideal for all kinds of cultivation applications.

Looks like a nice light apart from I dont like the way the ballast is mounted as it takes a lot more head room, and for us people who needs all the head room we can get it will be no good, but looking forward to your results. :tiphat:

that sounds like a shitload of facilitor, my understanding was applying a couple times double dose a week would really bush them out

Been doing this for the past week and my plants are on beast mode. Never seen OG's have such thick limbs!
