Fatigues, I disagree, PLL is used all over for these lights. ICmag, lighting stores, ebay, will all return results for PLL. Should he not search for pll? If you're saying it's the lack of the -, then you have been on the internet a little too long, noone cares about that. We are all hobbiests. You sound like Adobe saying people can't refer to image manipulation as "photoshopping". A smart person would search all terms, but my point was that he wasn't going to find much cannabis info searching by length.
Hank, here is a "power compact", a PL-C:
It's basically a CFL at the end of the day, so as a term, power compact is quite broad, just lettin ya know. I don't care if you call them Sally though, lol. Good luck with your cab man and watch out for the heat on the bases, 96w would be insane heat there.
Strangely, I'm just a hobbiest so I don't approach it that seriously, lol. Less light means slower growth and possibly slower maturing I thought. If I had some warm whites, they'd go in too, to make it autumny, for sure. Normally I wouldn't bother with any of that, just that she will be going so long I may as well try something. I'm pretty open to ideas if anyone knows any sneaky techniquez. The main reason I wanted to remove light is so I can run more wattage elsewhere.
I raise my estimate a little but I doubt it would be as high as you guys think, you never know though! She's only on day 50 or so, so there's a lot of decayed bat shit to soak up in that time. Also, the bio bugs have given her a good kick-up. All the root aphids are long gone and roots are looking whiter.

Is that veg tent a old Hydro Hut with the pvc plastic? Even if not I've heard that you never want to use HID lighting with that shit of it will put off gasses and kill the plants which I saw all over this site when I first got here and why I waited on a tent for a while... Plant looks GREAT! Those buds are frosty lil bitches hows the smell?
Haha thanks rhyo and cheese! I showed my buddy last night and he was pretty impressed. It's very decieving with all the red hairs from the pollination, at first he thought it was nearly done cos he goes y red hairs, not trich colour, but I explained it's still very early and he agreed it will be quite some yield.
Here's the wall 'o bud at the front. In case it looks deceiving, there will still be a lot of popcorn, as well as big thick long colas I didn't take off any of the lower growth (couldn't if I wanted! lol)

Hey thanks thund! Yeah it's pvc walls but hasn't seemed to cause issues. The offgassing gives a particular "yellowing at the top" effect which hasn't seemed to happen, but yeah, I would rather have a real tent! The Pure has become a bit nicer and sweeter instead of rancid I have to light incense when I check it.

Blynx, thanks man. I want to take her as long as possible. 100+ days would be nice if it all looks okay. Last time I took her I think around 73 - 75 days with not many amber.

It's hotter than hell here! God damn, sweating my ass off. You know how they say hold your hand under the light and if it's comfortable, the plant is comfortable? Well I'm uncomfortable just sitting on the couch. I pulled the foxtailing buds back from the lights.
The tent is rocking. I finally fed them last night. The Leda Unos were/are a bit neglected but the Trainwreck x Princess Diesels have been looked after a lot better. A lot of the leaves are getting quite chunky/wide, nice. I'll be flowering them in the next few days and using a Delta fan for the exhaust, and externalizing the carbon filter.

The last one was the purplest one. The stems are still deep purple though. The root pruning going on inside the clear pots is not behaving as I'd have expected. I think I left the holes too far apart (and made them smaller). It's still great in terms of drainage, and it is doing some pruning at least. My smart pots still haven't arrived.

Bigup bredren! Yes they're looking awesome! Fish emulsion and Seasol! I switched the fan and externalized the filter like I planned and it works great!
For a while now it's been a 10,000k and 4000k fluoro tubes (18w each) and a single 28w 5000k CFL. Now I've got more room I'll be switching things around again
