Exactly madness as I said.
What happens when it becomes more profitable to war with China than to pedal green energy products. Instead of finding an actual solution.

There is precedent for reparations. The Civil Liberties Act of 1988 which gave each Japanese American that was wrongly interned during WWII a $20,000 check.

To receive reparations, an individual had to have been a US citizen or legal permanent residence at the time of internment and had to have actually been removed from their homes and relocated to an internment camp. Descendants were not eligible to receive anything as they had not suffered.

That actually was a legitimate act that compensated those that were actually harmed by the governments actions as they were taken from their homes and forcibly relocated. They actually suffered themselves so they had a legitimate claim to damages.

Some gang banger in Compton shouldn't get a single penny because his great great great great grandfather was forced to pick cotton in Mississippi. How far back does one go? Do we demand that Spain compensates the indigenous descendants of the Inca's, Mayan's, and Aztecs because because of what the Spanish did in the 15th century? Is Mongolia responsible for the actions of Genghis Khan?

And it took the US about 40 years+ to even -begin- to apologize to people, Japanese American citizens, whose lives they fucked but good.

And the Japanese Americans were never subjected to anywhere NEAR the abuses the slaves endured.

The money that dems are making off of green energy has nothing to do with the environment.
Nuclear energy demonized by the nuclear disarming movement may be the answer.
People need to think outside the box.
Solar panels have heavy metals that are to expensive to recycle. The same goes for electric car batteries. If this becomes a bipartisan issue then mabey one day there may be resolve.
Now a hybrid is super environmental. What ever happened to them ?
Joe's war on fossil fuel has created the inflation, and at the expense of human lives.
I remember rfk Jr. was praising the ccp for jailing and organ harvesting in order to reduce carbon footprints .
How about sound environmental ideas?

The dems?

This is the biggest grifter out there. He's only in it for the money. What party cult is he the leader of?

:good: it took a long time, but better late than never. lots (over 30,000) of Japanese-Americans volunteered to show their love of this country. the 442nd served heroically in combat even as their families were interned...

The main road that runs along the westside of the Willamette river in Portland is named after a Japanese/American named Bill Naito who became became one of the leading developers that shaped the city. He's probably rolling over in his grave right now though.

After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, the Portland area became one of the "exclusion zones" created under Executive Order 9066, affecting Japanese Americans living within 200 miles (320 km) of the Pacific Coast. In order to avoid internment, Hide Naito moved the family to Salt Lake City, Utah, to live with relatives there. Bill Naito was a 16-year-old sophomore at Portland's former Washington High School at the time.

After graduating from high school in Utah, Naito joined the U.S. Army, in 1944, and was a member of the 442nd Infantry Regiment during World War II.

thank you! just what i needed this morning!

and more insanity from the orange one;

Donald Trump threatened on Friday to direct the justice department to pursue criminal charges against Google if he is elected president, claiming the company was unfairly displaying negative news articles about him but not his 2024 election opponent, Kamala Harris.

The complaint – the latest threat on the campaign trail from Trump to wield the power of the presidency in response to enemies real or perceived – came in an abrupt post on Truth Social.

“It has been determined that Google has illegally used a system of only revealing and displaying bad stories about Donald J Trump, some made up for this purpose while, at the same time, only revealing good stories about Comrade Kamala Harris,” Trump

“This is an ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, and hopefully the Justice Department will criminally prosecute them for this blatant Interference of Elections. If not, and subject to the Laws of our Country, I will request their prosecution, when I win the Election and become President of the United States.”
