We saw this tried already with Juan Guaido. Same playbook, all to try to overthrow Maduro. We want to control all the oil. It won't work this time either.

Are these far-right propagandists really supporting socialism these days? I was unaware.
maduro is not a real socialist, he's a pretender. in order to maintain control. why would the russians support him? who provided the "all kinds of international oversight."? you mean the russians? because i can't find anyone outside of the russian sphere of influence who claims the election was legit.

support for maduro has nothing to do with political beliefs or political labels. that's too simplistic and or too convenient of a way to slice the pie. it's simply about russian access to the oil. maduro is just another member of the dictators club.

what about the 'international oversight?"

Well now we're getting somewhere.

We're not, however.

Putin, Bibi, Donny, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini....absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Pick a party or politic, but it is about power.

Hitler didn't want to share.

Nobody can at such a late stage.

Evidence abounds.

Wait?! What?! 'Right-wing commies'??!

I must be in a magnetic vortex, as my compass is spinning hard, Scottie!!
sort of like 'fascist jews", like nutty yahoo. these labels don't really apply much anymore. it's about alignments. what politician truly believes his own public stance? it's all posturing for the gullible masses.

Fascism is a right-wing nationalist dubbing. Totalitarianism I can get down with, and it can be applied to any sect or political addiction or habit.

Based on the nationalist component, Bibi is most definitely a fascist. Though micro-compartmentalized under Militant Zionist war criminal corrupt nationalist/fascist.

But his "trains (don't need to) run on time", as the US taxpayers pay for that, in great part due to AIPAC's pressures on our government.

Bibi's a lot like the Koch Brothers when you think about it; he loves to "privatize his profits (or gains) (of any and all sorts), but prefers to socialize his losses."

exactly! they either belong to the "what's in it for me party", which is always diametrically opposed to the "i'm getting my slice of the pie party". of course, both backed up by strong moral positions that they fervently believe in!

i agree with cannavore that the entire world is now functioning on the capitalist model. and capitalists don't have any moral compasses. they don't believe in anything other than the accumulation of power and the wealth that comes with it. capitalists are the players and we, the people, are the playees. they are the actors on the stage and we are the ones they are trying to manipulate using our own emotions.

the problem we all face on the world stage is similar to the microcosm of society played out between the crips and the bloods and people stuck in the middle trying to survive. if you are a player in the hood sooner or later you'll be forced to pick a team. because if you don't they will both be coming after you.

we can't make the capitalists feel compassion for humanity but, if enough of us put so much public pressure on them that they feel their position is threatened, we can make them behave in a more considerate fashion.

we can't do it with the force of arms but we can do it with information. the world is shrinking fast due to the advent of the computer age and instant worldwide communication.

Ultimately, it might in fact be done with the force of arms.

Information-wise, with the advent of dishonest 'alternative facts' outlets making bank every minute of every day by pushing disinformation bullshit, the chances of getting information out -effectively-, and achieving the purpose, when the whole planet, or at least the industrialized computer-connected world, is on information overload, is scant at best.

"My dad's more honest and correct than your dad!!", when, in fact, odds these days are good that they're both full of shit.

And I prefer to think of it not as a (potentially humanitarian fair-trade) capitalism, but rather a 'mercenary government, country, and attitudes'.

"Pay me enough and I'll believe and or push whatever bullshit you pay me to."

And this is present from schoolteachers who smoke pot but accept a paycheck that includes duties such as pushing federal anti-drug propaganda, to the military that invades sovereign nations and tells themselves they're doing it to better someone's life or 'liberate' someone.

Less nationalism, more self-awareness, or there's not a goddamned thing here worth saving.

Oh, and STOP SUPPORTING DESPOTS!!!!!!.. Domestically OR internationally. Period.

Don't you mean price gaging? :ROFLMAO:
Just predatory capitalists taking advantage of their patrons when the chips are down.. Nothing new.

And they still apparently lack the insight concerning that point in time when predatory capitalists eventually kill their own markets.. Which can, indeed, occur.

At this point, I'd simply like us to expedite that arrival point, so as to shrink the greedy, soulless bastards' returns just a tad.

no, i meant "intercourse" as opposed to "coitus"! believe me when i say that i'm not interested in engaging in coitus with anyone on this thread. so far, that is.

intercourse in American English

(ˈɪntərˌkɔrs)
noun
1.
communication or dealings between or among people, countries, etc.; interchange of products, services, ideas, feelings, etc.
Whew!!!!! (wipes sweat from brow with red and white paisley kerchief).....

paisleys are so unbearably repetitious!
I know, but I'm a stickler for traditions... kerchiefs, paisleys, old pickup trucks, patched blue jeans, revolutions that strike fear into the hearts of the bourgeoisie, revolvers, Thai weed, and good dogs.... But sometimes carrot cake over fruit cake, too.

Here I'd thought it was a reference to the somewhat autonomic nausea reaction I experience when I review prices and products at the grocery stores these days, and an additional 'g' had simply been omitted.
