Wow, another attack. Obama's America is falling apart, along with the rest of the world.

Today, I stand with the blue line. Blue lives matter, just like black lives matter, just like every life matters. I pray the families of these victims find peace.

Just saw this WTF are people thinking, all this killing of innocent people no matter if they are black, white, red, blue, American or European.
There's always a few extreme evil people in any race, religion, government that kill with no remorse, why take it out on innocent people that had nothing to do with the reason the killer/killers are upset.
I am outraged about the killing of black kids/adults by police,
but killing officers that were protecting our right to protest is wrong. :badday:

Lets blame it on the gun.....right?

I have been trying to wake up my own family. Willful ignorance is bliss. We haven't even hit our economic depression that is just over the horizon.

Yeah, so true.
Again Obama blamed it on not passing more gunlaws. The guy that did the shooting was military trained.
Chicago has the most strict gun laws but highest murder rate from guns.
Not related, but the mountain I live on has a bunch of non-local younger growers blasting their guns of at night wild west style.
Little do these people know just about everybody over 50 years old on the mountain has a serious arsenal. We just shake our heads and hope no bullets come our direction.
WE have guns not for unlawful purposes, but to protect our families in an upset condition like the one you mentioned.

Well, I choose to mourn for the police officers that lost their lives, their co-works that have been injured, the deaths that are to come, everybody's families, and America. It's hard to have faith in cops when there are video's of cops murdering people. It's hard to have faith in the rule of law when the FBI director comes out and carries out a list of laws broken by Hilary, yet advises prosecutors not to prosecute, and in the same breath threatens anybody that breaks these laws in the future.

Or how here in Cali they banned a handful of guns, yet then the law makers excluded themselves from the law......Kind of remind you of Obamacare? We are the peons, and unless something changes, we will be un-armed peons soon.

Translation, bow down to your God's.

Alternatives to the US

Alternatives to the US

Sad state of affairs with little chance of change.

Luckily I decided many years ago to look for another place to live, where land and labor were cheap and where I felt safe to settle down and grow.

Took me too long to find Peru, but I am glad I did.

When I return to the States, it seems like things are getting worse and worse as well as more and more expensive.

As an exporter to the US, we don't see the prices that are reflected at retail, retailers and middlemen are charging way too much.

I wish that I was wrong, but realistically without open immigration and the taking back of gov't, there is little chance that the US will maintain its' greatness.

I would argue the open immigration part. Legal and vast immigration, geared to drive innovation, heck yea. Open immigration during a time of world unrest in not a good idea. One might need a more military mind to see the importance there.

Don't forget the main reason America is great. It's not because of the white's, or the blacks, or the Asian, or the mixture of every race you can think of. It's the freedom that America provides, that nurtures innovation.

IMO at least.

If it were not for family, I would consider a move outside the US. However, I can't even get out of Cali let alone the USA. Cali is one of the best places on Earth, but the politics have really cost us Californian's.

I gave my nephew a BB gun for x-mas. His response was, "is this even legal in the USA." Might show how brainwashed people are becoming, and what our school systems are producing.

There's folks playing shitty pool all over right now IMO. I'm seeing false flags. I'm seeing intentional divisions being created between many factions. Gays, Blacks, Muslims, Conservatives and Liberals.
I don't know what to do but try to stay united. The gun issue is so huge here and I see clearly the standpoints of the two sides.
It looks like some shit the CIA pulls in other countries to get a particular leader in power.

On the bright side Dr. FF's garden is going to produce a bunch of medicine that helps people see past a lot of divisions.
FF could we see your worm farm some day? I'm interested in getting into a little worm farming. I'm about to back up to some of your recommended reading. You're a talented dude and you could do well setting up and operating large facilities. I could see you coming in as a Consultant and Contractor and getting a high ticket price for your services, from those big Corps coming down the pipe.

Thanks a ton man, that is awesome of you to say.

I have been working on getting more investors, however so far I have around 1,000,000 ready to be invested if my county can come through with some guild lines. Not including personal money, and family members that are interested as well.

The main concerns with the investors are:
State water board
County law
State law and taxes
Property on Ag zone

If you have a plan, and can show how all those things fall into place, you would be surprised all the people in Angel Investing groups that are willing to invest. I am working with an engineer right now for building plans for a 5,000 sq ft indoor facility. I have worked with several greenhouse companies in the past as well, which will be another 10,000 sq ft of grow space.

This is all depending on laws, money, ext ext. Seems like in this biz, these type of plans are actually becoming realities. If my county allows, I would love to lead the way.

It's been a crap shoot looking for land. I never know what's going to change. I got this little shady Grove for a home. I was headed towards Calaveras, but it looked hit or miss untill the deal went down.(I almost got tangled up with Yuba county last year!) Then there wasn't enough time to secure a property. I need a wheeler dealer on my team.

Immigration

Immigration

The US is a Country of Immigrants. It is what made the US great.

I understand the fears that have been planted amongst the Republican party, their logic is quite simple so it would seem, the immigrant arriving on US shores must be rapists, murderers, thieves, etc.. But the reality is something quite different, most immigrants when they get the right to vote, become Democrats. Republicans don't want any more Democrats showing up!

But realize most of the produce in California and elsewhere in the US wouldn't be grown much less harvested if it were not for immigrant labor. (Mostly illegal).

Realize how many homes and apartments are sitting empty for lack of people to inhabit them in the US, Europe is the same way in many places.

Given the amazing information system the CIA, FBI and Homeland Security etc... you would think they could filter folks and realize who is who, no? Or maybe all that information makes them realize how little they really know?

I guess my perspective from living abroad is a bit different. Most of my friends from high school and college believe that immigrants are to be doubted too. I guess the American Indians felt the same way!

Are you guys under the impression that other countries just let people in?

What do you think Mexico's immigration policies are?

China's

Iran's

Canada's

US actually has quite sane immigration policies.......The problem is, there is no perfect world. The US can't take in everybody. And nobody should be expected to do so. It's just not how things work.

The Art Of War is an amazing book. It clearly illustrates why boarders are needed. When people start farting rainbows, and world peace is declared, I will put away my guns and allow who ever the heck wants in. In case you guys haven't looked around, nobody is farting rainbows. Unfortunately, it's a war tactic to invade a country from the inside out. Has been for hundreds of years. It's also a very effective fear tactic to tell these people they are xenophobic, homophobic, islamophobic, ext ext Divide and concur, also in the Art Of War.

Lets blame it on the gun...waright?

I have been trying to wake up my own family. Willful ignorance is bliss. We haven't even hit our economic depression that is just over the horizon.

a close friend of mine got raided a couple weeks ago, he wasn't home, when he got home the deputy who had let him and other deputies into his home and started ransacking said to him "you're blah blah" my friend said "no i'm so and so" deputy says "NO your blah blah!" my friend said "no i'm so and so and this is my house - i/ve lived here for 12 years" deputy smart ass says "ok then show me your ID!" my friend does, deputy goes "oh..." my friend says show me the warrant .. "i'm not blah blah and this isn't the address on the warrant- those 2 addresses are next door and across the street go look at my garage the address is clearly stated".
the sheriff's office drug task force was there to take care of some shitbags up there that my friend and many others complained about but fucked up and he got arrested, all his plants cut, money and 2 unloaded guns taken from him. the deputy who fucked up lied and said my friend was suppling water to the illegal grow (to cover his ass!) and said when they pulled up there was a black hose running across the street feeding water to said shitbags. the picture the S.O. has is actually a transfer fuel line my friend uses to transfer fuel from his truck's transfer tank down to his fuel tank for his generator and the picture showed the line in friend's yard, not across the road- deputy lied so he could cover his ass by tying the 2 places together. one of the charges my friend got was having guns (unloaded) during a felony.
this pisses me off to no end- it takes 45 minutes to 3 hours for S.O. to get here if we bother calling 911.
under prop 215 we are not committing a felony - prop 215 is a state law not federal, if we are within our dr's recommendation's plant count we are legal but we can't protect our fucking families and our homes cuz we grow pot, legally?? what the fuck. then i come to find out you can't have a 215 and get a personal carry license.
shit needs to change.
just sayin..

You know, Dr. Martin Luther King was denied a conceal and carry permit.....for his own protection.

It's about control over a population, not gun control.

I agree with everything you said, I also agree you have the needed skills. Super massive grows will cut corners and make the most money they can, resulting in a good but average product. Most big business people skilled at agriculture will have limited knowledge when it comes to bringing cannabis to its optimal quality.
I believe the future of legal cannabis will be super powerful big business, or smaller (like the size you mention) boutique grows by professional long time growers. Much like the wine and beer industry.
I also think to prevent being bought out, these boutique producers might need to form a co-op and combine their resources for marketing, shipping, sales and possibly to lobby politicians from county government (IMHO).

Prices of cannabis are not going anywhere for a long time. The retail price anyway. I think farmers in the next 10 years will see outdoor prices as low as 500 a pound. Still PLENTY of room for profit, if we can hire workers, trim crews, and expand our farms.

I will try to get to the worm farm here today, not sure how to take a picture, the worms tend to hide, lol.

StoneHouse - You should check out Clean Green. The networks or co-ops you speak of are being formed today, and the clean green program seems to have ties and hook up to these networks. I can't speak much more on it now, but after the season I will be more familiar.
