So the update for the week. This one goes out to America. Happy Birthday.

Lets start with the Cindy 99's from Brothers Grimm. She has sharp serration on the edges of the leaves, and growing fast. They are in the 100 gallon pots, with a double wrap of wire. This is how I should have started the other pots, BOFORE the plants got large.

My deps at day two flower. Green up nicely.

For those of you following some talk carry over from the AEA thread, those application rates that I posted are the same I am using on my dep plants.....Including the top dressing of Bio live at 1-3 cups per 45-100 gal.......So I think my large outdoor plants are safe. Sometimes I wonder if some in that thread are just there for misinformation? Or just salesman for AEA?

Some Ancient Og shots.

First in the final pot, 1000 gallon, outdoors, best sun in the spot. Had high hopes for this plant, and so far, she has been performing very well

Dream Beaver on top, Sun Shine Day Dream on bottom. Loving the structure.

A late Sour Sherbert from DNA. These seeds got popped around 4/7, but are quite large. In 200 gallon pot

Silver Mountain. Hard to keep green, but dang is she a monster. I know how this variety finishes, and if I can keep her healthy, this is going to be a HUGE yielder.

Decided to paint a few branches for future seasons.

Sky Lotus with a zucchini plant growing out of the base. I decided to let it ride until I made a few kabobs on the grill.

Ancient Og in the 800 gallon.

hay foothill , the plants were grown in greenhouse , yes there was 3 of each strain , all dragons blood outdid ancient og . i keep getting asked for it . the ancient i had was strong smoke , good yield off course . but yep the dragons blood had it easy , also the buds from the db were like fucking rocks , small looking pounds its so heavy .
if you can,t find it let me know , she is special for sure . show,s sex about 2/3 weeks after the ancients , and finishes about 2/3 weeks after also . hopefully that doesn't affect you .

mine were testers , pound size plants 30 odd strains, about 15 bodhi strains several of each . . test was finding new gear for me , see what thrived for me . something else that was very on par and slightly better than ancient also was the apollo 13 gorilla arm from bodhi . finished fast too yielded same as ancient . tighter buds more smell and taste . big long arms on them . solid structure . on par with ancient size .

don't get me wrong , i like ancient , she,s nice strain and i,m sure my f2 of them are really nice, i got the first frosty girl seeded up . pretty sure i even hit the ancient with dragons blood pollen or the other way round , may have been ancient pollen i hit the dragons blood with .

i also did what you want to do , hit the sky lotus with ancient pollen . i pollen chuck for large outdoor strains . i,m not a inside guy . i,m greenhouse and outside .

You know it! I love large tree farming, but not harvesting, lol. I did pick up a new tool for harvesting. It's a lopper on a stick that catches the cut branch, so I may not have to climb the ladder as much during harvest.

I had lots of work planting and mixing up new soil by hand this year. I waited WAY TOO long for my cages, and was kind of forced to buy the 2/4 wire. It works just fine, but I cut out 6x6 holes going around at the bottom, and top of the cage. Then this leaves super sharp little metal shards, so I then wrap in electrical tape because I was tired of my arms getting sliced up.

I would have for sure bought concrete mesh, but Lowes didn't have it and it was special order. So I settled......

Gosh I hope they yield like your saying. Would really help me and the misses out. The AOG surprises me every year. Just super solid, and I know how she finishes, so I will be expecting a good amount of stretch, and late large flowers. I was going to hook you up with any seeds I make this year, but yea, lets trade.

That black lime reserve is KILL. Reminds me of high school.

The SunShineDayDream I did in my deps last year, and they were all very vigorous, and top notch quality. I threw out the more indica phenos, and kept mostly the hybrid looking ones. I think the SSDD will be a great fit for my garden, but I will report how she does full term once finished.

Sounds like the DragonBlood does well in trimmers as well then huh? Thanks for all the feedback, if I find some DB seeds, I will give you the heads up.

Did you flower out the Ancient Lotus you made yet?

Also, I am not the biggest fan of the GG #4 or it's crosses as of yet. EVERYTHING I hear about gg#4 tells me she is the biggest vector the industry has ever seen. Some of the guys breeding with gg#4 are super douche bags also.

ok i'll bite. why hating on the ancient ? we get it, you like other strains better. but have you grown any other strain that consistently yields 10+ lbs with 27-29% thc? those are the plants i'm interested in.

i,m being straight up with my experiences , i like the ancient , its your baby i get it . i did try to tell you what i thought while back . that was even before mine started to flower , now i,m giving the end results report .

i,ve got them smoked side by side many times , yeah the ancient is great , its a awesome plant . i,ll be growing some of my f2 and my black lime x ancient that you are going to make . i,ve used a chemdawg large outdoor pheno of the black lime and hit it with the ancient pollen , going to be awesome cross . its big yielder , both are . ( you will see it in my grow this season )

i try to share shcrews , people can make what they want of it . i said to you try atleast one . see how you go

you have great plants , same as foothill and many others ....... i know you guys are bodhi fans , i probably mentioned it because...... as i said its all i,m hearing atm , you got any more of that dragons blood . its not suitable for me where i am , as it does get botrytis in my climate , where you guys are should be great , on the flip side ancient kills it here and i,m looking forward to doing the f2 . i actually have some being tested for me in the states atm , i will hopefully be getting finished product pics and can hopefully share them on behalf of the grower,s .

i know you love you ancient shrews its your signature strain , all good i,m not offending it . wouldn't it be a treat if you grew one ( dragons blood ) and found it did performed like i said and you had another strain that nailed it .

let me put it this way. outdoor, full season AOG absolutely shits on whatever strain you're talking about. if you dont grow monster plants then maybe your results will be different. when i grew AOG inside it didnt seem special but outside full-season i have yet to see better. course thats just my opinion from a decade of growing

you cant say ancient would out perform dragons blood as you have not grown it , cheers

and now im curious, do you even grow full-season? if so then what was your biggest plant, i assume it was the strain you keep mentioning. how many pounds? have you grown a few, to get an average?? you say you dont have a lab but do you at least have a scale? maybe even some pictures of these monsters? or should we just take your word for it

Mine have never been that big at this point in the season, and they always hit double digits, so i wont be surpised if you get 12-15 off those ones in the big pots. great job so far, seems on par with all the best gardens i've seen so far this year.

I'm flowering the BLR cut i got from my friend right now. it smells like straight up limes. seems very vigorous too. I dont usually take in clones but i've heard a lot of good things about how BLR performs outdoors.
