I like what you said up there about a hobby for yourself. Alot of peeps come here looking to grow huge crops and make a name for themselves while others just grow and there name is made. Much respect to ya 1toke.
The ladies are looking greeeeaaaattttttt too. The trainwreck looks like someone misted it with sugar water for the last month, I bet its fun to smoke a bowl of that at nite.

Heya Hill - good to see ya bro, MMM how ya doin friend. Thank fer the kind words, nothing to do but wait for them to finish now - home stretch, harvest pics comin soon I hope. The Sweet Tooth and SAGE are about 63 days now, 63 0f 55-60 on the SWT and 63 of 65-70 for the SAGE. Trainwreck mom is at about 54 of 42-60.

I find the finish times somewhat misleading and tend to take them with a grain of salt - I think they should start at the first sign of flower, not the day you flip to 12/12, merely because some strains take longer than others to show flowers. For instance, the Nevilles consistently shows sex 4 days of 12/12. The Sweet Tooth took about 2 weeks I think. With that in mind I'm figuring the Sweet Tooth is about 2 weeks less or 49 days of 55-60 (from the day they showed flowers).

All trichs are still clear. The nugs are simply filling in and fattening up, and fan leaves are frosting nice. I may get update pics up tonight if I have time after company leaves, just for comparison to last week frost and nug size.

Hey 2buds - the wreck is great smoke IMO, I'm testing burnout tolerance. It's a crazy plant - covered in trichs. Grey/green/blue leaf color adds to the exotica. Thanks fer the props, all the girls are looking good, just waitin for them to finish up so we can get them in curing and get some harvest pics posted. The missus says howdy and when ya coming over.

Jay Roach, thanks fer the kind words - been pretty blessed with nice genetics and they are getting better and better.

Took a test nug yesterday, trichs on the Sweet Tooth are still clear and frosting up nice - huge colas with about 20% browning hairs now. Not much longer, we torched the test nug last night and we were both pleased with the taste, buzz and intensity of the buzz. All of which will improve as they finish I'm sure. Mrs Toke had to quit after 3 pulls on the pipe, the buzz was fast hitting and couchlock hit 15-30 mins. I finished the bowl alone and was ripped pretty good the rest of the night, slept like a baby!

The sweet flavor is a bit harsh on the throat and the expansion is too much for the missus. She has a hard time with a bowl, likes hers rolled.

Yes how true about the flowering times 1toke. I would say that the gardener is the only true one that can determine if your plants are ripe and ready to be harvested. Cuttings of the same plant can take differnt amounts of time to ripen, depending on climates conditions. I can't wait to see some of the finished project!!!!!

Hey baccas. Good to see ya stop by bro. Any day now! The swt#3 is about 50% darkening hairs now, trichs still clear tho. I'm thinkin another week or two. We got plenty of cuts from all of them so I'll be able to nail down the flower time closer, my stoner calander fails me sometimes - only good if you make an entry!

Nothing to do now but wait for them to finish. Got the 2 Swt#3 x Johnny Blaze phenos into flower, and the Sweet SAGE turned out to be a fatty like the mom.

Well it's Sunday mornin and I'm packin the bong...
Watchin the frost show, it won't be long...
The buds are shinin - it's early morn.
Lights came on, it's time to go.......

Thinking of the 2 distinct phenos of the Johnny Blaze Project crosses - Baccas' Sweet Tooth #3 mom meets his Johnny Blaze dad. Sweet Johnny? Sweet Tooth Haze? Sweet Blue? Johnny B Good? Guess I'll wait for them to mature and grow out a little and let the appearances choose a name. One pheno looks like the Blaze without the stretch, but it's still early in the game. She's got light mint green sativa leaves, the other pheno is squat with darker green broad indica leaves.




Also have the Sweet Tooth #3 x SAGE cross, a huge growing pheno with massive branching au natural - no topping yet at about 2 weeks into flower - nugs all over alternating nodes, calling this one my Sweet Sage. Hoping for the SAGE smoke with lemoney incense and a tad sweetness, a full expanding heady smoke, coming in a little later than Swt#3 with more earlier frost than SAGE, and beefed up nugs characteristic of the Sweet Tooth fame. I'm thinking the flower time may round out to 55-70 days, will have the mom under 1k and some of her clones under 400s to see how the intensity will affect yeild quality and time.


OK. Off to get the tester seedlings potted up - have a PimpSlap and couple Candy Kushes to sex out, then get another batch of BluGhani germed along with another go at more PimpSlap seeds. Turning into a very interesting summer......
