Baccas, good to see ya bro. Hmmm, smoke report? (I know you've smoked them all before! )baccas125 said:How about a smoke report??
But yeah, I guess an update is in order. The trainwreck mom is still going, she's sacrificed a branch or two for care packages but plenty left for pics when I chop her.
Gotta get pics of the girls in flower, not gonna repeat the list - scroll back. The ECSD is a striking plant as is the schrom. Killer Queen taking her sweet time catching up with the others.
I'll text this post first, then when I get pics online I'll edit them in so check back. They have 2 week cure on them.
First, SAGE. (chopped about 2 weeks too early - 50% clear/50% cloudy with occasional amber) Cured with fluffy nugs, mild pine odor when the jar is opened. Pinch a peice of nug and your fingers glue together, in natural light the nugs look sprinkled with glittering crystals. Gummed up the grinder with every nug. Rolled fresh in spite of sticky resin, joint was tight but not compact.
Burned with pale grey to bright white ash and didn't go right out. The first draw bites a little, prolly paper & glue (ZigZag cut corner). Exhale is surprisingly heavy and full, choking spasms are normal until you get used to it. Taste of dry twigs and pine sap, turning into an "incense" flavor that expands lightly and pleasantly. When you feel eye muscles twitching and focus is an effort, you realize you had too much. Your buzz starts slowly in your forehead and spreads to your forearms and other muscles. Before you know it you just sat immobile for half an hour just staring at something. You chuckle at "newness" of walking and can't wait to take another toke, which builds on the last and whips you into a tremendous head buzz, one of those "ride the coaster with eyes closed" cruises that end in gradual fading of the racing mind and more acute sense of touch and smell. I haven't smoked more than 2 joints within an hour, at that point the buzz is too intense to remain comfortable. As a couple, the missus and I may (occasionally) smoke half a joint at a sitting, which rapidly evolves to sex, everything feels intense and you linger on the pleasure.
Makes an excellent daytime smoke, wake & bake a couple of tokes and go about your business with an acute attention to details, to a fault. Produces mild muscle relaxing, the feel you get in your arms after doing a couple hundred chinups - the muscle would rather give up and go limp than apply an effort.
Yeild was fair, smoke was good, buzz lasted about 6 hours without hitting anything again and never got out of control with mild racing episodes and elated sense of being. Nice mellow buzz. Haven't encountered tolerance yet, toked a week straight a joint a night. The sensuous aspect is a favorite among the ladies who find it a pleasant smoke.
Next up, Sweet Tooth #3 and Trainwreck.
