Dam - read through my update and totally missed ya there 2buds! Sorry bro.
Gotta agree with everything I see on the trainwreck - wicked shit, for sure - have never seen a plant pop out the trichs like this bitch does, all the way down to the base of the stem. Top shelf smoke, too, but may be too intense for casual company unless they're prepared to crash in the guest room. Makes great med for migraines and the back spasms - they may still be there but you don't know it. A very good evening bowl for relaxing with the missus and unwinding enough to get some sleep.
No need for jealousy around here, bro - pack for a roadtrip and meet us at the 2006 Great Lakes Growers' Association Mini-Cup. We'll be finallizing a time and location at the Growers' Cup in the Dam, once a list of participants is finalized we'll party at a stoner-friendly central location for everyone. Check out the 2005 Mini-Cup at Cedar Point thread in the Announcements forum, it was a blast and always great to meet friends you talk to online every day and share our goodies.
See ya in chat!
Being mostly sativa the trainwreck does stretch. And with the Thai it tends to be a creeping vine type of plant. Trick is to clone and grow them small to harvest a nice cola once in a while, I guess. I've got half a dozen clones rooted at different times so the harvests will be staggered, I'm hoping I can harvest a choice nug of all my strains every 2 weeks, one week is my goal. The Trainwreck ain't that big a yeilder, lot of popcorn nugs -so for limited room a currently available Indica would probably be the best bet. I love the sativas and have grown them out mostly, the indicas are new for me and gifted from great friends.
Bottom line I guess would be if you cloned a mom and kept the plants small you could have a nice Wreck harvest often enough. Not a commercially viable plant by any means. A small amount goes a long way, we normally hit 4 tokes on the pipe before bed, any more and you're too far gone. The taste is addicting and the stone is great if you don't have to get out and do anything, I wouldn't even attempt to drive - it's hard enough to walk!

Hey SuperSnail, good to see ya bro. Sorry, the Wreck is clone only, no seeds available unless somone makes their own cross with another strain, a few have done it with excellent results.SuperSnail said:Beautiful grow 1Toke! I am so impressed with the frostiness of the train wreck. Even on the stems! That is making me jealous. I have looked for TW seeds, but haven't been able to locate any. Any Ideas? Do you think it would fit in my 23x19x40" cab? It seems like it would be a bit lanky for my grow space, ya think?
At any rate, great grow, and I'm happy you didn't let the flamers get the last word!
