Heya Cap, good to see ya my friend. Now that does sound interesting, I've binned 5 swt#3 males and it broke my heart! I may just hang on to the next one if he passes all the tests.

I refuse to let all the current crapola get me down, I love to grow and share pics of these beautiful plants. Thanks to all you great friends that have made these genetics a life at the Tokes'. :respect: :respect: :respect: :respect:

See ya in chat. :woohoo:

1toke, looking great as always my friend. Those macro shots of the trainwreck are top notch. It looks like an alien jungle...a delicious alien jungle.

I haven't been on much lately, and apparently that's for the better. Ah well, good thing this is a forum, and I can choose NOT to read the drama. Where is the Boo drama smilie icon?? :joint:

peace all! mp.

 Hey mpro - good to see ya bro. Yeah, lot of undesirable traffic, but it will move on and find another board to mess up once they get tired of trying to get us involved, and discover that we don't play in those games. Hang tough bro - it will get better.

Yup, I love the wreck, grey/green/blue and frosty all over like a good plant should. :woohoo:

But this will show at least a modest yeild with dual 400s and mixed smaller lights, who says ya can't do it without those big suns? :woohoo:

Now watch the next run, hopefully the same strains and some other goodies thrown in along with hydro and the big lights, and we'll give it test for the money! Major DIY dumpster updgrades coming along real fast....until then see ya in chat! :woohoo:

Hey 1toke,
The perpetual harvest continues with beautiful ladies. Damn, umm, ummm.
Just saying hey bro, hope the headaches are leaving you alone. Say the trainwreck is good for a backache? That's my nag everyday, low back, flew off the interstate when I was 15, 20 years of aches with an occasional oh shit, floor here I come for a day or two. It's a bad feeling when you can't do for yourself.
The garden looks awesome 1Toke, take care.
Peace,2buds

Heya 2buds, good to see ya. The Sweet Tooth is helping out with the migraines, being stress related it calms me down enough to enjoy about 10 hours episode free. The wreck calms back spasms and helps get to sleep in peace. SAGE is a happy medium I think, but ours is only about halfway done for the first run, have 4 clones standing in the wings for their cycle in the perpetual schedule.

5-10 days left on the Sweet Tooth #3, 10-20 on the SAGE, and the wreck is ready anytime - going by trichs now, it could go another 28 days.

See ya in chat, thanks fer stoppin in guys.

hey im alright. good to hear ms toke is doing outstandingly well... hehe. and you the same.

migrains stink, i suffer from them also. i think i might have told you already but im clinically diagnosed with migraines, and from what i understand that is rare? but ill tell you what i feel ur pain big time sir. do you ever get the ones where the pain comes out of nowhere, and then you can't move, but then it hurts to lay still, but then it hurts to move, and all you can do is just suffer with tears in ur eyes?!?! oh yes i feel ur pain.

arent you glad though that we live in a country where we are allowed to self medicate and (temporarily) alleviate or pain with natural medication? well i do it anyway.

sorry for the drift, but its obvious you don't need any tips on ur babies, and very impressive they are. and yes its been a while, and yes its the same old me. keep up the good work.

how can you veg so tall under a 400 and still keep the internodes tight enough to have a good finished product......how big are the containers? what was the total harvest again?

It's all in the thread, did you just look at pics and get too stoned to bother reading? I do that all the time. :pointlaug

The veg cabinets have 5 dual-tube (2x40w) shoplights as the ceiling, totalling 40wx10=400w of all spectrum floro, with adjustable shelves. Most internodes in my closets aren't tight, in fact a lot of them get stretchy and lanky when they are taken out of the veg cabinets and put into the flower cabs because the stretch period usually lasts halfway through the flower period, and I get stoned and forget to adjust sometimes.
:joint:

How big are the containers? Repeating myself here, but that's also in the thread - I start in sprouter containers, move to beer cups, pot up to litre pots, then 2-3 litre pots depending on strain, some are potted up to 3 gallon paint buckets and some are in 5 paint buckets. Thais and sativas like the 5 gal pots, most indicas end up in gal or 3 gal pots. The hydro is 35 gal tub with 2 ten inch netpots of lava rock. Some of the sativas and a few experiments are in 20-30 gal tubs, but with the fussy strains these are hard to flush and move around so I'm phasing most of them out when their residents finish, I overnuted this run of Sweet Tooth and SAGE and had to correct that - pain in the ass with tubs, believe me. This Sweet Tooth #3 is in a gal pot.

A good finished product - depends on your priorities and what you consider a good finished product. Our goal is have fresh nugs to harvest every week perpetually for our personal smoke and filling our 2x3x4 humidor cabinet with 36 canning jars of cured stash nugs of premo strains, not 100 pounds to risk life for trying to sell or impress kids. As to whether or not they are good finished product, have you smoked any of today's strains cured properly? An ounce of Trainwreck, ECSD, Sweet Tooth #3, SAGE, Johnny Blaze, Killer Queen, Neville's Haze, Schrom, PimpSlap, Candy Kush or BluGhani is more than worth my time and effort, but most plants give us 4-5 times that on a good run. And with the occasional tester runs we get pleasant surprises of interesting crosses to try every week. This run of Sweet Tooth #3 is in the finishing stage, the pics of trimming and curing will show the yeild, I'm hoping for at least 6 jars of trimmed cured bud off that plant.

You don't know me or apparently haven't read anything I've said, or you would see that we don't have a huge commercial system for profit - you can find plenty of those in the Growers' forums. At the moment I have a Sweet Tooth #3 and Sage in one flower cabinet; 4 Sweet Sage and a finishing Trainwreck in another flower cabinet; a veg cabinet with a few more Sweet Tooth, 6 Trainwreck, 2 Schrom, 2 ECSD, a Killer Queen; and 15 clones in the cloner cabinet of various strains that we like. The propogation cabinet has PimpSlap, BluGhani, Candy Kush, SAGE and Sweet Tooth germing, along with a few experiments of Old Timer Stash beans gifted to us by an old hippie sailor. All the cabinets have 400w and two flower cabinets are being upgraded to 1000w HPS for future runs and experiments. I'm motivated by healthy plants of exotic strains, not by how much I could make off them. This is my hobby of love for the plants and learning to grow the strains, yeild and success of the finished product are relative terms IMO.

I think I covered your questions? I grow a few plants every week for premium personal stash for my wife and I, and lifelong friends that party overnight. Our goal is to show how easy it is and get more friends growing, we don't sell and aren't interested in making money from all the wonderful genetics gifted us throughout the years. My greed is driven by the chance to sample some amazing personal smoke every week and share them with friends. Simple man, simple pleasures. Anyone with a little common sense can do it.

See ya in chat.

Great to see ya around more reefer! Missed ya around the boards old friend. Still hoping to get out with ya on the course and see what all the fuss is about disk golf! :chin:

Yeah, the migraines are diagnosed as "stress related" triggered by the back and nerve problems and 40 years of this lifestyle I guess! The Trainwreck does a fair job on relief but then bed is the only option, I get too wrecked to get anything accomplished on it. Some day I'll find the perfect balance of relief and still be able to function and make a living. :pointlaug

Thanks fer the kind words on the babies, with the friendship and help from great friends like you, the babbas, baccas, shopvac, ehonda, hillie, WWM, Capt. Crip, Caesar and many many too numerous to list (you all know who you are and how gr3atful we are!) the plants somehow survive and treat us to amazing buzzes every day. Don't ya just love this plant. :woohoo:
