dude the CD has me for sure, by the way those buds look i'm going to say i bet it makes some real good hash/kiff as well.....

The sample nugs were harvested at 57 days because the diesels were threatening to take over the flower closet. All fan leaves trimmed tight, then as much stalk trimmed out as possible. Air dried 3 days, cured ~3 weeks in clear glass canning jars stored cool & dark, daily burp sessions of an hour or so.

In glass the taste is clean and clear, in joints the toke is more controllable and brings out more flavor nuances not noticed in glass. In the bong it will rip your head off and send you to ER with choking fits.

I guess the description would be honey/cinnamon and just a hint of pine tar and a little sweet spearmint (vanilla incense?). Not what I would call fruity, more like over-ripe fruit or fermented juice. To me it's like ECSD with trainwreck, that weird unleaded gas taste I just can't put a handle on.

We like the mellow slow climbing high ceiling mostly head as it levels off, then moving into heavy body the last half of the buzz that lasts 2-4 hours or so on half a medium joint.

The burn is medium slow, easy to pull too much, early expansion which quickly passes as you take the next toke. The ash is like keif ash-a dark grey to white banding with each toke, that starts soaking the paper with resins up to half an inch down the joint. It turns into a very easy inhale as the tastes start to mingle and it smacks you in the face with a foam #1 finger. The whole buzz focuses around your head and most of what you notice comes after the vision starts to flutter and you start squinting. This visual effect is a little disturbing.

The mind can focus on an event, yet have 5 more thoughts fighting for attention. Thought processes get to be tiring and you're easily off on side wild-goose chases that turn into great adventures of shit you never knew and stuff you wish could know. But back to the smoke.

The high appears to be in 3 levels, the first 1/3rd hits fast and hard then levels off to a 2-4 hour plateau for the 2nd 3rd. Then the last 3rd you find yourself crashing and burning without a prayer for recovery, and the body totally relaxes for a great nights' sleep. This last level is creeper, by the time you realise you could nod, you're already fighting to stay awake. The thought of laying down and nappin becomes priority. This smoke will take effort to fight off the urge, if you succeed you become alert and energetic with a second-wind, and it's easy to clear items off the to-do-list if you stay locked on task and ignore the tempting side-trips that could make that simple task reveal a pyramid of other simple tasks just as easy. I set out to do one thing and actually end up taking care of 12.

If I toke too much, or try to go to sleep too soon after toking, it's impossible to get to sleep with the thoughts racing. For me that means getting up and reading and chilling for about an hour before I feel I could lay still. But when the urge gets intense, it's impossible to fight it. I would guess that if a person toked more than a medium sized joint by himself, that he would put himself to sleep in about two hours, and not much would get done off the priority list in yer head. Great pain med and muscle/nerve calming qualities.

That's about the end of my thought trail......may add or change to this report as I discover nuances in subsequent sessions.....

thats quite a detailed report my friend have not seen to many like that one, H&L puts up reports like that as well....

ok so have you smoke all three strains that make up this three way combo?, and if so which one comes through in this mix at the end of the day....

i have not smoked any of the combo in the mix, but have been wanting to try all three.....was there any hit ofd the mass in your testing of this mix????

i loved the TW and in a couple month i'm going to try the ECSD, i'm jacked to have this one going this round.....she is a monster and needs to be controled pretty much right out of the gate, she kinda reminds me of the TW in that way.....although the ECSD does not put out the branches like the TW did, she can still fill up a space rather quickly if not given enough attention....

Thanks Jay, it's hard decyphering stoned notes from a session. Still tweakin the cam, need just the right lighting for super-macros. I'll get it learned yet.

Heya jaws - I've toked Chemdawg and C99, not Mothership. I think the C99 is dominant in this pheno, with Chemdawg flavors mingling and adding to the high traits. This one could have gone another week or two to get the full potency, but all in all I'd consider it a keeper because it's easy and grows fast, and took to guano like a pro. ECSD is fussier. I'm very happy that no hermie traits surfaced in this pheno. Kudos to Devilock for the pheno selection, couldn't have chosen a finer representative speciman - excellent trich coverage and full dense nug formation. It's a stinky one to cure tho - be warned, a harvested plant will stink up the whole house.

mj - thanks fer the kind words, still learnin the cam and lighting, but a few shots came out better than I expected. I was pondering a new cam and the missus pointed out that I haven't used any menus on this old 4 MP classic. It used to take far better macros with nice trich head resolution, I just have to re-discover how I did it.

Core - thanks bro. I tried scratch 'n sniff pics for ya but couldn't figure out how to upload them! Strain Tracker is becoming a refrigerator magnet for often referred to notes and collections of grow and harvest info scattered all over 2 computers and shelves of notebooks. This way LEO don't have to trash my whole pad when they have it all on one portable machine. Like they would consider NOT trashin a place for evidence.....

Seriously, I like the ease and speed I can look up info now, and it helps mentoring a few new local growers. I got tired of saying "I'll look it up and get back to you on that."

I've seen smoke reports varying depending on the grow methods, would be interested in other's results and how they differ when, say, chem nutes are used, how long flushed, etc. I'm fully converted to organic and this run flushed for the last week, 9 days I think it was - with dechlorinated and RO'd (distilled). Flower temps (more important, night temp fluctuations) have a lot of effect on variations in smoke reports, from what I've seen.

Yeah, this pheno has amazing trich production and great bag appeal, competes well with SWT#3 tho not as good a yeilder IMO.

Heya homie - was gettin worried about ya Dev - I installed a new hard drive and messenger didn't like it.

I think I got all working OK now, will try again to see if it keeps me logged in. Shoppy's on his ski vacation and br26 pops on occasionally to let us know everything's cool....so no one's been on anyway.

The CD was a pleasant surprise, great trich coverage but about half the yeild of Swt#3. Got dozen cuts in the cloner for another go at it to see if we can get them a tad bigger and FIM'd properly this time.

We been fighting the winter crud too, good to hear yer feelin better, shout at ya after work. BTW, I told Joe to give ya calls again - he was cryin he was short handed and behind with this crazy snow.

Did the smoke report hit home or did it differ from your experience.

It takes the same love & devotion that marriage takes, if you can commit to that you can handle anything a grow can throw at ya. The quality control sample station is a great place to toke with some classic rock on, but gets crowded real quick when buds drop in. Our whole place is a party room and if the living room leather & entertainment center don't get it we still got the gameroom......Poker or darts, anyone? (Not that good at Poker, really).

as you can see she is doing fine, and her two sisters look just like her....man you were not bullshitting about this being the real deal (never doubted ya) cherry pheno these girls smell just like cherry ludens, i had all the plants out this morning and while they were draining i was in the other room uploading pics and when i went back into the room where the plants were there was an overwheling smell of sweet candy, that smell could only be coming from the cherries......

even though i have kushs and diesel in the mix the cherry smell domanated the room, i thank you again for your kindness and for hooking me up with such a special cut....

thanks brother, i cant wait untill you get back on track and can get your cherry rolling....i'm very interested to hear what you think about the smell of the cherry, i know its not all in my head but i need a second opinion and seeing you got you cut from me i know 10000000% you will be smelling the same thing as me......but as you can see she is a branchy honey so your more then likely going to need to do some lower branch removeing seeing your running her in the system you use....

Dunno about cherry but mentioning Luden's is awful close, come to think of it.

As you can see, the nugs turn out top-notch with excellent trich coverage and nugs formation. Grows like weed too....

The ECSD will eventually stink over the CD, but the combination of the two in flower is euphoria, like ambrosia.
