bounty what are your temps? the bulb will burn brighter when it's cooler - so if it was too hot and when you open the door it cools down and brightens up - that's the only thing I can think of.

Oh hey in case people didn't hear - home depot is no longer carrying millspride cabinets - switching to closetmaid. So if you want one get it while they still have them.

they smell like they look - dank - sweet spicey and funky some very old school funkyness that smells like what dank should smell like from the o90 with the spicey exotic floral smells from the burmese reminescent of nag champa incense.
nigerian nightmare X nigerian nightmare, 4 weeks into veg.
there are actually 7 plants in this pic (a seedling is squeezed into the middle left).
the largest (upper middle) is female, the others havent shown any sign yet.
they have been at 18/6, which may explain their smallness ? size doesnt matter too much right now as it is overall health i am trying to achieve.
still the same downward leaf-tip curl that i had on my first grow, but not nearly as bad.
they are in upside down 1 gal. plastic milk jugs. i dont think i will be reusing them as they have too much flex when lifting in order to shift plants around.

I'm glad that I grabbed my Mill's Pride cabs when I had the chance. Depending on where you live.....Some Home de Pot's still have the cabs.... I guess it's the last of the stock and then it's Closet Maid...JUNK (Had one similar to the U2...Didn't like mine...NOT AS GOOD OF A QUALITY.) But it did make for a nice fire. Heh Heh.
I have the U1/U2 combo and the C-24. In the future, I plan on Moms and clones in the U1......Veggin' in the U2..... and flower under my 600 hps in the C-24..........For personal use..of course.

Here's the cab w/ some BMR....starting to show sex. I changed the setting on my camera to FLOURO...from DAYLIGHT. Hopefully this will get rid of the lines in the pic?
Also.....I've got a lil' hydro system outside. Gonna be workin' hard this weekend "winterizing" the whole deal.

This is for some veggies. I have 4 tomato plants in the buckets....but don't know what I'm gonna plant in the 4x3 bed. It's a continuously recirculating system...10" net pots w/ lava rocks..... and the bed has about 4" of pea gravel.

Yep the U2 I got was one of two left! Soon they are going to be vintage growers cabinets. Gota love that outdoor hydro system! Your very lucky to have the space to do such a thing without getting caught. Talk about being incognito using reflective materials! hehe. I have never in my life seen such a thing!

brney... i am a rookie grower and NO connoissuer, but i will answer as best i can ... the smoke was pretty much the same as what i had been buying previously, which, i was told, was "hashplant" . nothing fancy, tasted and smelled like weed. effect was well into couch-lock territory but you could still get up and do stuff if you had to . i think if i had harvested a little earlier i would have gotten the "uplifting" effect i was looking for.
now the good news ... reefermans nigerian nightmare grew well indoors, took a bit of a beating from this rookie grower, but kept going straight to the finish line with a goodly crop AND some seeds for me to play with ! in the hands of a seasoned veteran this plant would have been laden with bud ... potent bud . i was very pleased with it.

That's really cool that you were able to get the U2..... Once the back and top are in place.......It's a sturdy little box. I think you might have gotten it a little confused......The hydro system is for VEGGIES ONLY. Just good practice for building/using different hydro systems. I'm gonna be working on it this weedend....insulating and little things. Those buckets won't be reflective for much longer......gonna spray paint them.
Oh Yeah.... Thanks for the deminsions on the scrubber..... I don't know if I can fit it in there or not. Not quite sure if I could make it work or not.....I'm gonna have to ponder that one for awhile.

I have a problem with the Height... "8 inches or so".....If you could make it 6"... It might fit. I would put it where the drawer used to be....but that would cut my headroom down considerably....THAT'S why I need to think about it...
If it's possible...that would be cool!! Even if I can't use it.....I think you should do the tutorial on it..... I KNOW that there are people that could put that scrubber to good use......those fans are something serious....move sh*t loads of air...and quietly.

What makes you want to do a four seperate 150w hps grow, as opposed to say... getting one big mills pride cabinet and doing a 600w grow? A 6' high and 7.5' long stack of six cabinets is definitely going to look more out of place than one 3' wide 7' tall wardrobe.
I can definitely see the functionality in it though, maybe have one as a veg/mother chamber, and then you can have three seperate flowering chambers.
I dunno about the ventilation setup though, air will follow the path of least resistance, so one of the chambers might get vented great, and some others might be lacking.

Bounty ...excellent...that's the exact kinda feedback I was lookin for.... I already have an awsome mother/veg cab...at the moment I have the moms squeezed into the clone section so I can flower in the veg section...just for fun for one harvest...I'm getting huge light levels out of it and just wanted to try...well huge is relative...I'll post some pics in a few hours when they wake up....my idea for the 6 cabs is to be modular and when they are in their final resting spot it would be a garage or storage area...I'd make the 6 cabs look appropriate. I'm not as worried about stealth as I am quality grow....I'm not even interested in quanity....my thoughts are 4 cabs...perpetual of different strains...I know all this can be done in one cabinet and have seen some really nice work on here from some folks...I'm also concerned about air flow and my pic drawing isn't to scale...I would try my hardest to work the y joints and length of each run to be the same distance. Keep in mind that I'm a bonsai grower and most of this effort would be for the fun of it....after all...it is just a weed...what are your thoughts 5 small scrubbers running off a vortex type blower? ... I know there are variables...but I figure 400cfm or so could suck through those if I ran the ducting just right?
