Hello 150w members ,

I was wondering if i should start flowering now. Heres some info.

Strain - super lemon haze
vegging - about 2 months
lights - 150wat HPS
medium - hydroponics.

She is about 16 inches tall.

My closet is 5.5ft tall 2.5 feet deep and 4 feet wide.

Do you think i can veg longer for a better yield or should i flower now so i dont run out of room.

Its all up to you really, I mean as long as you have enough light density/coverage you could probably get away with vegging her til 6-12 inches before shes too high IE touching the lights or something. Otherwise I'd say now is about the time. Just make sure you have all the dummy things done if you let her get bigger. Such as transfer to a larger pot (if using soil or coco) be prepared to make alterations in feedings both in amounts and possibly in your schedule, decent airflow is a must and obviously adequate lighting (I'd suggest at least 2 150w's or a 250w at least). I'm sure I need not remind you of any of this and as long as you cover the bases you can go bigger, but in the end its all up to you. If you have her under a single 150w lamp then it might be good to flower now if not within the next couple weeks to a month. Take care all and happy growing!

Heres the pictures i promised. They are healthy and going to 12/12 this monday after i clean my bucket out. How much vertical growth can i expect from them in the flowering stage?

I wouldn't expect much extra height expecially considering it just looks like a sativa/sativa dominant. They look great by the way. In flower it'll focus more on budding up rather than getting much more height but it does happen normally. In any case I wouldn't expect much more than an extra 6 inches if that. here is my Trainwreck at day 27 of bloom...I moved the side fans around so now light gets everywhere...

Looks good man, post up the final results when there done. keep it up.

noticed your plants are looking really bushy aswell, here is a thread that i think you should look into to help utilize your 150w a bit better.

Haven't been around lately and cool to see more folks in the club.

Looking good on the pics everyone!

Here's 2 clones just harvested out of 6. Other 4 will be harvested this weekend. I lightly pollinated a bud with a SourBubble male and now have 11 purdy seeds.

These fine ladies are @ 70% cloudy - 30% amber.

Harvested last 4 clones an hr ago. Trimmed and ready to hang dry.

Got 4 kush x strawberrydiesel clones already budding over a month in 150 cab and have 8 veggin K x SD clones about to be transplanted before going into flower. Will update with new clones soon.

thanks DB ... with added 160 watts of 4100k cfls to 150 hps the buds are way more gooey and denser. And did I mention more potent than last rounds with same clones. I'm smoking scissor hash on top a bowl of last weeks dry clones.

Whats up 150 crew. Been lurkin alot lately, thought I'd jump in and say

I'm the guy from several pages back trying to grow in a 9 1/2" x 22" cab(old gun cabinet). Well I'm glad to say after a rough start I seem to be doing OK now. Got one sativa heavy female 3 weeks into flower now, starting to see some nice bud formation and crystals already comin out. Switched to 12/12 when she was about 6-7" tall and now after the stretch she is 21" tall. Will definately look into scrog next time around.

Have another indica heavy plant in there that has yet to show sex after 2+ weeks 12/12. Huge indica leaves, strong smell but no balls or pistils yet. Was put into 12/12 after only 2 weeks veg though, so we'll see. Lots of growth after the transplant to 3 gal. bucket and under the 150 though, almost as big as my female and its 2 weeks younger.

Have learned alot so far, and I think my next grow will be alot better. Also building a bigger cab, thinking 18" x 21" which gives me about 57 watts/sq. foot. Any thoughts on optimal dimensions for best coverage/watts per sq. foot?

Sorry no pics yet, promise I will get a digi cam sometime this winter. Should def have some pics for you guys of my next grow atleast.

My 4" in-line vortex style exhaust fan came rated in cmh's (cubic meters/hr) LOL, but I got the #'s converted and dis quiet little ho's ready to go to work!

I made no changes to the design in the link. The few bucks I saved by turning a 32oz can of stew tomatoes into a 4" end cap was wasted on activated charcoal which aint so cheap anymore!
