Looking good Sleepy, let's hope they fill out nice and fat. On another note, I really picture Will Ferrell sitting behind your computer all high typing away(hahaha).
You're very welcome sir, I've been following LED for two years, now this is extremely exciting to me to see progress like this in such a time-span.
My comments were meant in no way to be rude, I merely have the book on hand and wanted to help.
One thing I can say about LED, with the extremely low heat, you can get the lights extremely close to the canopy, with minimal heat, or leaf burn issues, though I would of course recommend you always follow the sellers, minimum recommended distance, as any closer and you'll more than likely run into the above issues.
Ok enough of me, can't wait to see them bud up sir. Good luck.
i didnt notice if you already answered this or not ,but have you grown this strain brfore and if so is the growth similar to the last time .if you havent grown it before disregard the ?
chuckyoufarley!!!>> hey man...nope, never had the pleasure of growing this one out...heard some good reviews, though. thanks for coming back thru the show, chuck!
The last strain pictured has a Robert Plant type look to them. I was just going through your thread with the Sour Creek, Strawberry D, Black Thai and that cola on your Roberta was kickin' Sleepz. Right up there with the big boys
Nice set up here, I like the LED idea! Not been around for a while, this kind of whent past me. How do these compare to Envirolites, has anyone done a side by side?
It's been said befor and I'll say it again. I just can't getover the density and compact-ness of your plants. Eagerly anticipating every update and final results. Your doing an excellent job. Thanks for sharing and doing such an objective test.
BTW, I too visualize Will Farrel kneeling in the pinkish light among these plants when I read your posts, saying "you gotta keep the canopy even and the soil dry. As if this thread weren't interesting enough, that just makes it all the more entertaining.
zeppelindood!!>>wow, you sure took a long trip down memory lane!! hehehe thanks for the compliments! centeredchi!!>>welcome aboard!! glad you like-ee... Alex-F!!!>>holy sh!t!!! glad to see your post, alex!!! i do nort have any info about the envirolights...sorry about that. great to have you peepin' in on me...been a long time. cre8iv fuel!!>>wow....thanks for the nice words! you made me smile! whatissixbynine!!>>very interesting...hmmm i think that would be helpful for a lot of growers. good call!
idoreallytry!!>>hey man...glad you are here! thanks! pearlemae!!>>hey now!!! thank you very much!
so now that you're a good way into flowering the real question is.... other than being stunted due to the mentioned grower error issues, are these lights producing what you're used to at this stage of flowering?
I just wanted to ask you about how close to the plants you can keep the light without any signs of stress? And have you noticed the optimal distance between light and lamp? Thanks..
