Hey HashC...
I know nothing about the hydro end of growing, I think most folks here are going the soil route. I do remember seeing some posts from some though that referred to their hydro setup...maybe you could read back through this thread and try to find them, and then send them a PM.

If you're using a 3' x 3' table, you shouldn't have any problem with starting 48 seeds. You figure a few may not come up and you will lose at least 10 to being male. 4 per square foot is tight but not out of control. I would especially think that for the 12/12 method it should be fine. My setup is a 2' x 2' area with 16 plants. So, the same density.

12/12 from seed won't give you plants with alternating nodes, or with just one or two. this makes the plants less wide ,so there is room for a lot of them like chosen mentioned.
48 is fine . You can end up with for example 20 females wich easily fit on a square meter . Some more than 20 is even better, in most cases .

Hey all, I finally harvested my 6, 12/12 from seed ladies! Took HOURS, but I had some spliffs and 24 season 2 in the background and I was ready to go.
Anyway's, wet yield was 720 grams, including the big stems obviously. Here are the pics!
Here they are each on their own sheet. The one on the top right is the one I was picking from which is why is has the least buds.
Here is my tallest (but not thickest) bud.

Hey all, I finally harvested my 6, 12/12 from seed ladies! Took HOURS, but I had some spliffs and 24 season 2 in the background and I was ready to go.
Anyway's, wet yield was 720 grams, including the big stems obviously. Here are the pics!
Here they are each on their own sheet. The one on the top right is the one I was picking from which is why is has the least buds.

Haggis just got done growing an AK48 from Nirvana a few weeks ago. He posted a grow report...I think he got a little more than an ounce...28 grams...dried. There are pictures of his plant, go back to the first page of this thread and there is a post that has links to the grow reports that have been posted.

Congrats Munkie! Sweet looking buds ya got hanging there. 720 grams wet should turn out to be approximately 144 grams dried....divide that by the six plants and you get a per plant yield of around 24 grams. Excellent! Thats almost one ounce per plant average.
Good Job dude. I'll be waiting to see your grow report...don't forget that you can "cut and paste" that little grow report template from the first page of this thread. When you post your report I will post a link to it in the strain report post on page one.

I have a jar full of sugary trim which should do nicely. Im going to try the jar with ice then running it through a coffee filter method... Any suggestions?

1) your experience level...This is my second grow, started in October of '06
2) Lighting...First 2 weeks or so they were directly under a 125 watt envirolite (blue) I later upgraded to a 250 hps in a coolshade.
3) Container size...I have 6, 6.0 liter pots in my cab
4) Soil recipe/mix... I use BioBizz allmix, it says it already has 30% perlite, but I threw in more because it didnt look to be that much right out of the bag.
5) Watering schedule... I Water when the pots feel light and soil isnt moist. Late in flower I started watering every other day, but Im backing it down a bit as i think Im overwatering a little. Usually water until i see something come out the bottom.
6) Nutrients used... I just adjust the PH and throw in the recommended amount of Bio Flores from Biocanna (Living in the UK at the moment) Says 100% organic, pretty sure the soil is as well.
7) Time until sexing...Took about 3 weeks for some 4 for others.
8) Total flower time... So far its been 9.5 weeks, it looks like I will be harvesting at around 3 months. Keep in mind I did train and trim these alot, so Im sure I slowed their growth a bit.
9) Conclusion... I tried this method because at the time I had plants still in my cab that needed more flowering time and I wanted to get my next batch started. This time around I think Im going to veg for about 2 weeks before I flower. Id say if you have the time / space to veg, then do it, but if not then 12/12 works just fine!
10) Strains... 4 of the 6 plants are bagseed my friend gave me. The original stuff was potent and smelled really nice. 1 is White Rhino from Green House Seed Co. and the last is called "the Church" also from Green house seed co. Its said to be swiss sativa, skunk 1 and 2 and northern lights.

yield per plant is not really limited i believe . Some my best yielding plants, 12/12 from the start:
Lots of little buds forming one large bud , it was a strange plant :
Next to a 1,5 liter bottle (9 week sfrom the star ) :
She was about 90 cm tall and yielded about 80 grams (dry and cleaned weight)
A smaller plant that yielded 30 grams dry weight . amazing she was able to produce this with just a few leaves :

Cannabis likes to spread her roots sideways ,thats why i dont use pots after sexing , they limit the rootsystem-growth to much.
I started my current grow directly in one large amount of soil , this will give the plants roots even more (growing) speed.

seriously ? I thought is was a seedplant grown by a 12/12 grower. I will remove it , cause otherwise i'm talking bullshit inhere .

If you check the link i put u will see it among other of so quicks pics of that grow..
And whoever put it on the other forum , seems to have lifted the photo n claimed it as their own...
its best u retain integrity and be careful of others pics, as they might have lifted them and be lying.. sad i know but some peeps seem to lie about what they grow
