thoroughly glad your girlies prospered. those seem definitely worthy of mom status. it is unfortunate that good genetics are getting so expensive, but i figure its always worth the money, from the commercial, and personal medical users point of view.

Very yummy looking. I grew out some BH as well about 4 years ago. When budding the plants smelled like a weird mix of turpentine and god only knows what else. They did not smell like pot. I was lucky enough to grow out the "block head pheno". Out of the 8 plants harvested, it was the only one. I tried to reveg it, but it died on me. They were great yielders and it was one of the tripiest highs yet. Some people liked the high, some did not. It was not party pot because it had a tendency to make you very uncomfortable at times if your mood was not right. But man if you were w\some good friends you could talk all night about almost anything.
One of mine also got bud rot and if you search you will find that BH and LUI both have this prob. I grew out LUI and it did the same. Personally I would not smoke it, but it still gets ya high as hell-taste a little funky though.

Thanks for all the compliments. The indica pheno should be dry within a few days. The sativa pheno has about 8-10 days to go, i actually started flushing her yesterday. I gave her 12 gallon of ro water, and am probably going to water her again with about 3-5 gallons of ro water closer to harvest when shes dried out from this flush.

She seems to be by far, one of the best if not the best seed strains available. I don't think i've seen pictures of blockhead on here that didn't impress me. She is an all around great plant, and she yields far better than most of these "elites" and looks to be of about equal quality too. Blockhead is quite a unique strain...i want to run her full time now.

SI2, glad to see that they're finishing strong. Didn't I tell you that you'd be happy. It looks like you've been bitten by the blockhead bug. I would love to see a room full of blockheads in there. I've got a good few getting ready to rock the house for the next run. You just won't find many out there with a better yield of such high quality nugs. Noone has been disappointed when they've tried the blockhead. Glad to see that everything is working out for you. Did you keep cuts of these? If not let me know and let's see what we can't work out. Great job when it's all said and done bro.

Krome- Thanks for all your help, you were certainly right. I actually didn't end up being able to clone her...although i am kicking myself now for not keeping clones of either blockhead. Harvesting her was like killing one of my kids lol

Here's a pic of a blockhead that I grew. You can see why it's called BH by what the buds look like. Plus the fact that it feels like someone hit you over the head with a block of cement after you somke it.

Update:

The Sativa Pheno is still doing awesome, she's showing some crazy purple hues. Some buds are almost pure purple. She is still packing on crystals too. Very Dense, they are more taller skinnier buds as opposed to wide colas like most indicas, but they are super dense. I started flushing her on day 63, they are on Day 65 today. I am giving them about 72 days total to flower, so about a week till chop.

Some more eye candy. She's gotten much more purple overnight, the temps have been fairly low (68-70 at night). I think it's really helping bring the colors out. I believe it's the blueberry pheno, not positive.

Lougrew- I believe it's actually dj shorts blueberry that was used in blockhead, but i'm not sure. I'm not even positive this is the blueberry pheno, because alot of the blockhead phenos seem to turn purple, this one looks the most blueberry like out of the blockhead phenos i've seen, but i'm not positive. Thanks for stopping by, i love your grows man. You got balls of steel lol.

Update:

I chopped the Sativa Blockhead today, i checked her triches and they were about 30% amber and 70% cloudy, which is perfect for me so i gave her the chop. Today was day 69 of flowering, and i flushed it about 8 days ago, her leaves were very yellow from flushing. I took some pics of some of the buds trimmed but wet so you can see what they look like. I will put some pics of all the bud dry once they are done drying and get atleast a few days to cure. I also will give a smoke report of both of them.
