long rant short...which cut of "Kush" would have that metallic smell/taste in it?
I've found it in Hindu Kush, the original, from Sensi Seeds. Also sold as "Afghan Kush" (by other seedbanks) and what not.

Purpotedly, it was a line made by Nevil: Jim Ortega's Kush 4 crossed with the Northern Lights #2.

According to Origins TK, a Hindu Kush plant was the father to OG Kush and Triangle Kush.

I remember reading that some Pure Kush cuts have that metallic twinge too.

is it the same metallic tinge like pennies that i detect in the chem strains?

i think it might be caryophyllene (and/ or an oxide), if it's the same thing i'm thinkin... or at least it's a contributing factor. the underlying incensy/ metallic (btw, afaik that smell isn't the metal itself but oils that have oxidized on the metal)
smell of caryophyllene... it's in the same realm as cedar and sandalwood, maybe some body odor (not onion, something else nicer), and blood... is this kinda what you mean?

all i know is i detect caryophyllene and it's high up in the terp % on the bottle when i get a metallic tasting tinge with my chem flower (ie stardawg lately, very metallic)

nah i guess now that i've been around more its near what you smell in a original diesel type plant. but more specific when i say the metallic tang i mean like that ozone smell i think its called, like when someone is using an arc welder or when trains gring the track and make the sparks. like metal on metal burning smell.
