I’m giving up processed sugars today. I am actually a little afraid, it’s going to be hard. Maybe the hardest change I’ve planned in life so far.
I’m going to be sugar sick😂

Not promoting it, but I do use it in my coffee, with whole milk.
My stomach just can'tt take black anymore So I compromise.
This is the closest to Turbinado I found for a moderate price.
Unrefined and unprocessed. Just dried evaporated cane juice.
About $10 at Costco. YMMV

Years ago, I gave up all sugar and all salt in any way shape or form. I stopped drinking coffee about a year ago because it just decided to fight with my stomach all morning long. I miss the salt but not the sugar, but I’m working on an extremely healthy diet. Health is the one thing we don’t think of until we start to lose it…

Morning folks! Awake far too early; I can see a nap in my future.

Carbs should be less than 20% of your diet.
When researching diets for the A1C challenged, I saw a illustration that puts it into perspective. It showed half a plate of veggies/fiber, with 1/4 plate of protein, and 1/4 plate of carbs as a right hand rule of thumb.

The devil is of course in the details and involves weighing the portions.
