I have three Zenith plants going. I grew half the pack. It is said there two phenos but I think I might have three of the compact one. They're pretty similar and I don't see a distinct tall and columnar example. But it's early and maybe too soon to know or maybe they're all going to be tall and columnar later. They're doing well so far. I'm really curious what they will be like in the end.

Oops, sorry I didn't realize the top was cut off in the photo.

Your 3 Zeniths looks wonderfully healthy outdoors, great shape and size that should reward you later in flowering with a big yield of healthy flowers. You have really dialed in the soil and feeding with your outdoor plants, well done @musigny23  Guess you will start to find more differences once they are into flowering. Please, keep us updated!

Seeing @Tangwena reacts reminds me, i finally got around to fermenting some last week. I gave up looking for a cylinder i could stuff (didn't put serious effort in the search) i got to thinking i had picked up some parchment paper for hash and edible making, plus vacuum bags, so i wrapped some in parchment, vacuum compressed and stuffed a bag, then vacuum sealed and put it in the yogurt maker. Opened them up to rearrange from pancake to more rectangle cube like. Bringing back some memories from the 2000s with compressed sativa, although this is going to be much better than what was being handled back then.

Was able to shrink down about a dozen half gallon jars. Should help the Acapulco Gold and a couple other extra fluffy, half boofy bud plants, the smell has gotten better already for sure on the AG, 79 Christmas, and Ethiopian. I put about a 10 grams of the 1st Zenith and about a ounce of the 1st Super Panama Haze in to ferment as soon as they came out the dry box, the others have been in the jar a month or so, still enough moisture they dont burn well yet. I am keeping about a half gallon jar or so of each for regular flower, and fermenting the rest.

Two Jack the Ripper, Zenith, and Super Panama Haze on the bottom

Congrats on the harvest of your 4 Zeniths @Keif Cake :D Glad you got different phenotypes to experience the desirable variability this great genepool has to offer. Your descriptions of the terps sounds yummy! As described in the strain description, the lemony ones in average are the most uplifting and energetic ones, while the sweet ones get much more complex in terpenes by end of flowering and each sweet leaning plant becomes really unique for effects and terps by end of flowering, combining sweetness with dank, spicy tones as well. When properly feeded without deficiencies every Zenith plant produces a very high yield. Great looking flowers that hope provide lots of joy in a few weeks.

Zenith done at ten weeks. She’s been a pleasure and easy to grow. Could have benefited from a bigger pot but still finished without any problems. The aromas are very pungent, lots of Panama terps along with sweet, fruity smells too. Looks like a good yielding plant also. Can’t wait to grow her again, and very much looking forward to the smoke test.

Great job finishing your Zenith in spring with light dep @island_organics !
I think you are the first one to harvest this new strain here at the forums ;)
Since you are familiarized with Panama, i'm looking forward to hear your opinion on how different feels Zenith for you. The flower shape-structure of your pheno looks very much like Zamaldelica elite mother.
Did you already give her a try or still curing ?

Here is my Zenith ready to harvest after 9.5 weeks. The clone was cut and flowered a bit early. Hence she got overgrown and stayed quite short. The new cuttings are doing better.
The Aroma is pretty citric and reminds me of SuperSilverHaze. The nuggs are also pretty tight and hard. To me it seems like a tropical sativa by ACE put into a hybrids costume. Let's see what the smoke will be like...

Congrats also @orangina for your Zenith harvest :) Looks very resinous, with dense appealing flowers. The citric phenos can finish in just that, 9 weeks, faster than Super Silver Haze and with much better sativa effects (no Skunk, no NL).

We didn't find nanners or more severe hermie traits when we did our testing with Zenith before its release, even feeding them very strong. If your friends are growing same clone and not finding nanners then must be something related to your environment, probably the 3 day period darkness (I'm not a fan of that). Did you use flowering stimulators ? Please, let us know your insights about her when you are more familiarized with your harvest, and looking forward to follow your upcoming rounds with her!

cuts preparing
...small aero cloner, pretty comfort zone, instead of fckin with rw , after week already roots, :)
Zenith has much brighter color than outdoor fertilized hybrids (in soil)
there are two phenos that seems now almost identical and one cut of third pheno can be recognized in aero

Hi @spoores they look so far more like Zamaldelica, with thinner Thai like stems. They didn't enjoy the soil they were initially growing. Zenith needs high levels of nutrients during whole cycle, otherwise they will underperform.

Use coco with very frequent waterings/feedings (this requires experience in such growing media) or grow them in dark, high quality peat + worm casting, and feed them with good organic fertilizers.
Make sure the ph is correctly adjusted both in watering and feedings.

The clones you took look really well ... Did you totally cut all 3 plants into clones ?

She really has attitude from the start @libre like you! :)
She has lots of Thai influence: in the stems, node lenght, leaves .... excited to see her into flowering soon!

Zenith 8 Liters Pot, grown under cob led's from cutting. This cut need 9 weeks to finish. I would say it has this typical sativa lemon smell maybe a bit woody / carrot. I like that alot.... and you can got something like that in 9 weeks. (y)

It was grown in Allmix from BioBizz (which is a very strong soil) and has low requirements for additional nutrients she was just fine with a good soil and can finish with mostly tapwater and low amounts of fertilizer. But thats only this cut.

The high is a potent vape for daytime activitys, it will get you in a good mood and for me today it was really helpfull for doing housework and cooking while listening to music and having a good time. :rasta:

Thanks for all the frequent updates compadre  I know you have been amending and improving your native soil, but there's something not fully dialed in there. Your Zeniths should be much bigger and robust at this point, somewhat like musigny plants look.

They would be much happier and well developed if grown with much more dark, high quality peat and worm casting. I also have the feeling that sun there is super intense at mid day and afternoons during summer, am i right ? Probably you need to work also on covering the soil with mulch, so the root system will be less stressed with the heat and sun, and plants will grow faster, stronger and happier.
I know i've commented it already a few times, but if the ph of your soil is over 8 is a must to water and feed with discipline with slightly lower ph (around 6.3).

Hey guys,
Excited to try another one of these. This is a small zamaldelica x Panama from 2018 R&D I’m growing in my first attempt with organic soil. It’s a bagged soil that’s made locally and seems a bit strong for these ladies.
View attachment 18870929
She started off smelling very lemony but the smell is getting more complex now.
Absolutely love these Panama hybrids and decided to start a Oaxaca x Panama to grow beside my zenith. Thanks again Dubi for letting me try these.
View attachment 18870934

Yeah @Mountainkush small amounts of Zamaldelica x Panama seeds were already produced a few years ago, and a few fellow interested growers like you managed to get some before it was officially released as Zenith this year :) Really happy to see you growing her beside Oaxaca x Panama F1, both are really really good enhanced Panama hybrids.

While the fully citric, fast flowering Zenith plants share a very uniform cerebral, energetic powerful effect, on the other hand Zenith (longer flowering expressions) start with also citric, classic lemony Panama terps that later become much sweeter, and by the end of flowering much more complex, with unique nuances in each plant for terps and effects, which are more balanced and healing.

Thanks for sharing the outcome of your Zenith @Uludag :D

Thank you man, i forgot the buds man haha. Sorry guys here is the outcome of this plant and some nugshots. Sorry that the pictures dont have the best quality but i hope its okay.

All, its like 35g, pretty fine yield for my potsize and growspace for this plant also if you compare to other hybrids not bad at all.

Yeah! Inspiring pix everyone! 2023 the year of the Zenith! My Zee baby is three weeks old and really starting to catch fire outdoors and nearly under water during this very rainy summer but under the 20 foot+ high clear plastic roof we put up to keep the rain off here in monsoonland. Working a charm so far with my Botryitis beleagured Zamal-Kali, still hanging on staving off most of that which I've already cut away. Incredible smelling plant, stings your nose with the camphor, pine and grape smells I sometmes catch. There will still be plenty of perfectly good bud on her, the infection hasn't progressed. Maybe 2 more weeks and I promise to take day of the chop pix. And also 5 week old Lao Sa (Real Seeds), Panama Regular (Ace), and Honduras (Ace) just killin it, not to mention Mountain Gold x Satori (Mandala Seeds) while stunted by the very poor levels of sunshine, just awful weather this summer, raining like hell months before that is supposed to happen, but yeah Mountain Gold x Satori after three months is really filling out, a lot of bud, many many branches are producing quite well, very impressive plant too. Wow such an exciting summer.

Yeah, this is the year of Zenith @Herbert Chickybaby :D the ACE Queen for 2023 !
Pleased to know you have one Zenith growing this season along with other ACE genetics like Zamaldelica x Kali China, Panama and Honduras, would love to see pictures if you have the chance.

Thanks everyone for your interest in this new ACE super sativa strain  it's very touching to see so many friends and growers so excited giving Zenith a try to indoors and outdoors this year! 🥰

I am very pleased to have 3 distinct phenotypes, especially the shortest flowering one based off the description and the longest flowering.

Id say sweetness with dank is spot on for the shortest flowering one, because the one i put in to reveg definitely got more complex, adding some extra stink into the mix compared to what got pulled a little early. Here she is working on the reveg, but i see tons of seeds developing, I'm thinking the pollen is from Head Bandidos males, or Honduras Mexican pollen. Most likely the HB, because they look pretty advanced to be honduras, which was in the closet following the HB males, but either way I'm pretty excited to have what should be 100+ unplanned seeds.
Without sammpling any, based on terp selection, this one is the one in most interested in seeing offspring from. i will be looking forward to running this one again when i can let it go full term without fear of losing it.

The twin Zeniths i was picking up some spicy notes on, and those two definitely could have used more nutrition at planting.

I dont doubt the flowers will provide plenty of joy in the coming weeks. Ill probably be sampling the twins first,

dubi,

I will add in some more fertilizer, etc. this is pretty much straight compost, EWC and perilite. No native soil in these containers. Water pH is always high out here and there’s limited things that can be done with water source. Open to suggestions. I could put sulfur into soil to lower pH there. I don’t believe it over 8. Low to mid 7 soil. Otherwise, only option may be some type of in line dilution using acid source…but I’m not sure if I can get that set up for at least a month or two. I’ll think of options.

Impressive @OntologicalTurn  if i'm not wrong, she started flowering around 1st of June, finishing by late July, that's fast! Did you induced the flowering in some way ? Or is it because of your latitude closer to equator ? How were the terps while she finished ripening ?
Well i havent cut her yet, she still have another wave of new pistils (similar to panamá x bangi haze in that).
And well it could be both factors, i veged her indoors for a month or so, and i put her out in the middle of may, so maybe she started flowering by the end of may

I have to clones out of this same plant, one in 2 weeks of flowering and one in prefloración, Zenith 1 has more weeks of flowering and seems like she wants more

I think me and keifcake are the ones using native soil in the mix

I haven’t sampled any yet as i like to give ‘sativa’s’ as long as possible to cure otherwise they can be underwhelming. It smells great though, very similar to Panama but with more floral notes and musky sweetness. As soon as i smoke some I’ll let you know how the effects are.
