The Zameldica and Malawi's I grew took to training well. The bushy Malawi especially so.

I have high hopes that the Zameldica will be my personal best. The truth will be in the smokin

Hi vinrusso,

Zamaldelica doesn't contain Double Thai or Koh Chang Thai as Golden Tiger currently does it. I have been breeding Malawi, Golden Tiger and Zamaldelica so each one has its own personality.

Malawi line shows the high vigor, huge yield, very high resin production and overpowering Malawi effect (all pure Malawi traits) in a very consistent way.

Golden Tiger latest releases (both standard and feminized) contain Double Thai (Koh Chang/Hmong Thai) and our 2 best and strongest pure Malawi parental plants: Old Malawi Killer and New Malawi Killer.
Current Golden Tiger has the vigor, resin production, extreme potency and improved indoor adaptability from our Malawi line but with remarkable thai influence (especially noticed in the aromas and effect).

Our main goal with Zamaldelica was to breed a dominant (yet improved) Zamal pure sativa hybrid. Original first Zamaldelica release was an outcross (released for the first time in standard format from 2012 to 2014) between Gerrit's Zamal x Old Malawi Killer/Hmong Thai (pure Zamal crossed with first Golden Tiger release that didn't contain 2 thais or New Malawi Killer genetics).

First standard Zamaldelica release had around 10-15 % of hermie rate so we had to improve this and other traits in upcoming generations.

Concretely, current Zamaldelica standard release (F2-F3 generations, available since 2014) has been bred mainly towards our Zamaldelica Zamal dominant elite mother plant from the original outcross (super high THC content, excellent uplifting, creative and expansive effect, very refined terpenes of mango and sweet carrots, short/moderate flowering time, very good indoor adaptability) and parallely we also have bred towards the longer flowering Zamal/Thai phenos (very trippy, but no so tamed/refined regarding flowering time, bag appeal, terpene profile, resin production like the offspring coming from the Zamaldelica Zamal dominant elite). I produced dozens of different F2 and F3 Zamaldelica standard lines in order to keep the widest genetic diversity and best phenos from the original outcross, but we have only released the ones i consider the best ones.

Current Zamaldelica fem release (available since 2014/2015) is a backcross towards Zamaldelica Zamal elite mother with a touch of New Malawi Killer, so it is:
Zamaldelica Zamal elite x (Zamaldelica Zamal elite/New Malawi Killer), i think this is the best, more balanced, more tamed and more refined Zamaldelica version we have ever released.

I also have produced other Zamaldelica fem lines like Gerrit's Zamal x Zamaldelica Zamal elite and even lately Purple Zamal x New Malawi Killer (with no thai, not released or tested yet).

As you can see the main goal with Zamaldelica breeding is to produce as many different desirable lines and genetic combinations as possible between Zamal, Malawi and Thai in order to find the best ones.

Sorry if it's getting a bit complicated to understand, but breeding poly hybrids with many different paralel lines becomes quite complex in the F2-F3 breeding stage.

Hope it helps with your doubts.

think it's the thai pheno that's the trippest with long thin sativa pale green leaves. my fem zam thai pheno was also the lightest feeder out of 3 phenos.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=7815847&postcount=1149[/QUOTE Hey Bordefinder. I ordered the "Trippy version" of Zamaldelica. They were reproductions. 2 of them were Thai, the others looked like big OG kush leaves. I keep trying to ask Dubi what's the difference between to two versions. I think the female would be stronger. It probably has Koh Chang, who knows. When I bought these "reproductions", I assumed they were the 2013 Zam's that I have. To say the least I'ts a little disappointing. Luckily I still have 9 of the old version. But that was almost 5 years ago. seeds get old. Zamaldelica is Zamal and Golden tiger cross. How he makes them finish so fast, must be the Malawi. My old version took 16 weeks, and smelled like strong chemical or something. Swollen calyx. Long Nodes. These sound good. But different.

Zamdelica thai pheno

Zamdelica thai pheno

Dubi thought you might be interested what I got from leds+t5s at 6 wks 11.5/12.5

This 36" plant had no training just lights, sulfur based nutes around 0.7-0.8 ec. basically followed Dubi's feeding instruction from web site.
Internodal length 1".

Laden with resin smells anise, woody.

Thanks Dubi for schooling me on the Zam. Either way, I think they're all killer smoke.

Thanks for all the information about Zamaldelica dubi :)

Here is my Zamaldelica, Flowering Day 46 (in 11L soil and 11,5 hours of light)

This plant is not in the marathon business, she is doing a sprint !
I´m very impressed.
She is actually even fatter than the Malawi x PCK i planted the same day.
Amazing how fast flowers show up. Even some brown hairs are already there. I feeded very lightly, gave her 2 days ago a little water with EC 0,5 but today i spotted yellowing of the big leafs. Feed again a little EC 0,6.

I wonder about the appearance of the plant, short, huge main cola with little sidebuds.
From the appearance and size it´s the most indica looking thing i´ve grown in a while.

Quite strange to see the snowmoon next to it, larger and columnar. If i would´t know whats up and take a fast look in my cabinet i would guess zam for a indica dominant clone (apart from the thin leaves) and snowmoon for a sativa dominant (snowmoon has quite thin leaves to).

Dubi, if you can teach pure sativas to look like this and behave like an indica, i´m sure you can train them to wash my dishes too. I´m looking forward for this version !

Early_bird, nice plant. How long did you veg? Your feeding lighter than me at ec 0.7-0.8 except my thai pheno at 0.6-0.7. Droping that down now, the thai looks good with pale green leaves, but my others are too dark of a green. I'm used to feeding til get the smallest bit of brown at the tips then I know what is their max and back off a bit. sure doesn't work so well with these africans.

Borderliner, i vegged them for 2 month, took a clone, vegged the clone about 20 days and send it into flower.
They are in light mix and get mostly plain water. Just sometimes some light feeding.

Feeding Plan:
Flowering Day 16 = little water with EC 0,8
Flowering Day 27 = little water with EC 0,6
Flowering Day 44 = little water with EC 0,5
Flowering Day 46 = little water with EC 0,6

Do you feed with every watering ? In soil ?

early_bird, looks very healthy. still behind the learning curve myself on clones. from Dubi's feeding instructions I don't go over EC 0.75 every time or 1.0 weekly. actually have been a bit generous so cutting it back.

they get sometime every time depending on what their showing me. use gypsum(calcium sulfate) with epson (mag sulfate) is my go to cal/mag. Jacks citrus feed 20-10-20 it's 4.9% sulfur. and potassium sulfate in flower. Working on the idea sulfur makes citrus sweeter, peppers hotther, and pot potent. Have to give credit to Riddlem for the idea.

my girls are in mix of sunshire and kitty litter with some volcanic ash mixed. their in 2gal pots except for the leggy girl who got bent over to make an even canopy she's in 1gal.

G'Day Dubi,

Thanks for the info you've shared here on your Zamaldelica breeding program.

My little unofficial breeder's pack (along with the Columbia Mangobiche) arrived in the mail a couple days ago. I've now got 12 Zamal/Thai Dominant and 10 Zamal Dominant Elite seeds in rooting plugs waiting to pop. I've been eyeing off this cultivar for a couple years now and am super excited to finally be growing it.

Thanks again for the extra effort you put into this order.

Cheers,
BC
