Zamaldelica

Bob Green

Man I need to pop my Zamaldellica and throw some pics up to get this thread back on track.

For you guys that have popped seeds of the first regular release how common are male plants? I want to make F2s but only have twelve seeds. I am looking forward to buying some of Dubi's F2 Zamaldellica elite generation once it is released.

I wish I could throw some zamaladelica malawi leaning pics up and get this thread back on track! :)

Here's the Malawi side of my first go-round of Zamaldelica. This plant smelled strongly of mango-carrots from veg till chop.

Malawi side of my second go-round of Zamaldelica. More columnar development with this plant.

I crossed the first Malawi leaning Zamaldelica to Purple White Widow x Tom Hill Haze and came up with a very Zamal-like, white widow soaring combination.

Ok, a lot of people misunderstood what I was saying.

I'm bummed that ACE has the ability to help all of us preserve Zamal but instead they chose to profit off of it. Nothing wrong with Zamaldelica. It's a strain I REALLY want (the old one). But for Dubi to know we all want him to keep Zamaldelica (or at least on side-project line of it) on the Elite Zamal side, inbreeding (or allowing us consumers to inbreed) towards Zamal (in all her hermy and autoflower glory)

No negativity coming from this end

This is not the only pheno in reunion island same as aces malawi is not the only type of malawi, if you really want the goods you need to go get them yourself. Ace do a great job with what they have, we all want trippy grass at least I do.
Its best to use whats available, if not the go get your own it is still there if your serious enough. Shit when I lived in Africa I got grass with no name better than anything from any seedbank if its not grown in Africa its just the next best thing. Sorry if I ramble its the Zamaldelica butter I had this morning.

I highly recommend people travel to Africa and collect seeds.
I was there last year and collected seeds from 8 different killer strains.
Unfortunately the seeds where stolen from me. I'm thinking about going back and collecting more now though.

South Africa and Swaziland are really easy places to travel and its super cheap!
If you go to the Transkei you will be blown away by the variety that exists and is easily available.
Go to Coffee Bay and people will be approaching you non stop to sell you herb and each has different strain.

If you go to Victoria falls you'll be on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia.
There I found amazingly stimulating Malawi and Zambian strains.

Try northern Mozambique you can cross over to Malawi easily, this area gets grass from the reunion island, madagascar and all up the east coast of Africa, some of the best from southern sudan is amazing, the localy grown stuff is from seeds brought by traiders from everywhere up the coast its a melting pot. The most trippy I had was from the tete region on the border with Zimbabwe and Malawi in the steamy high altitude Zambesi valley.
A safari to central Africa is a dream come true.
All those countries are so corrupt and easy to score in you will not know where to look first.

Interesting read, I am running some Zamaldelica, Panama and some Oaxacan. This is my sativa strains. I do have about 30 hybrids going as well. When I purchased my seed packs from Ace through the Attitude. I was more interested in the Oaxacan(not Ace) and the Panama (Regular) I prefer not to work with feminized genetics myself. I feel they limit the potential over regular seeds. It has been my experience if you run enough plants or multiple seasons as I'm forced to. (way north) I find multiple geno and phenotypes. I have one real stretchy genotype of Zamali. The others are more evenly structured like the Panama and Oaxacan are. I'm very interested now in doing a hybrid now. I thought I wanted the highland Mexican genetics in one of my hybrid phenoes. Damn! now I'm looking at adding all 3 to different hybrids. I don't think I need that big of a project. I've been working my two for 7years. I'm not flowering for two weeks yet, Plenty of time to figure it out. Does this plant create this much confusion for everybody who grows it out? Peace

I didn't read every page. Vinrusso what are you using for lights? I have mine under 3 600 watt HPS and 4 LED single 23 watt lights. This is in a 12' x 14' room with a 9' ceiling. I have some outside through mid June. Only one male will be used for breeding of sativa's. Be it a Panama or a Zamaldelica. My two hybrids will remain a true breeding effort. I don't normally do pictures but I could take some at start of flowering through harvest. I suck at posting. Anyway running these plants just became a little more interesting at least on a social level. Peace

Vinrusso, I purchased mine in March of 2015. They are newer stock. So far they look great. I have 4 small single bulb 23 watt LED's with the 3 600 watt HPS lights. I'm doing 3 (Ace) panama(Regular) 1 Oaxacan(Fem) and the 4 (Ace) Zamaldelica's (Regular). I may breed the Oaxacan female on different branches with both the Zamaldelica and the Panama genetics. Providing I end up with a male of each that is breeding quality. If not I will use pollen from one of my hybrids on all 3. I'm starting flowering June 1st. They will have until snow flies to finish flowering. Dry, 2 month cure then see what I have. I remove all seeds after cure. I do have 2 other Haze's going that will also get breed with my best male also. Thanks for reply.

"A.C.E is a group of breeders and lovers of Cannabis, dedicated to the preservaion and study of this wonderfull plant. ]

Our planet is undergoing a constant loss of its genetic diversity and Cannabis is no exception. It is the responsibillity of our species to save all these unique forms of life, maintain and preserve the biodiversity.

The pure landrace varieties, which are the origin of all our domesticated varieties are a consequence of this amazing plants adaption to the echo systems of our planet.

These pure varieties are disapearing for many reasons, like the elimination of natural habitats, through war zones, lost ancesteral culures genetic contamination due to globalisation and mainly due to the false laws prohibiting research and utillisation of this wonderfull plant.

Although we already count medicenal uses for Cannabis in the hundreds we have still only barely scratched the surface of the potential of this plant and what it can offer to the world. At A.C.E we want to improve the lack of genetic diversity and to stop the depression of the species that Cannabis is suffering at the moment.

So A.C.E offer you pure genetics, fresh and new selected from the best of our extensive libary of C.Sativa strains collected from around the world and preserved in our collection.

We are proud to offer you the first 10 varieties of our first catalouge. From the the breeders of A.C.E and our private collections we are very sure you will enjoy these exceptional varieties.

All at A.C.E look forward to working with the UK growers to ensure your satisfaction and we look forward to seeing you around the forums and sharing with you.

Peace,
Dubi,
A.C.E. Breeders Association."

What happened to that Mission Statement?
Golden Tiger flowers quicker than before and Zamaldelica has more Malawi in it.
Seems like ACE went from Preservationists to CashCroppers

How about no longer offering OTH and instead breeding it into C99.... It's not much different than making Zamaldelica a hybrid that is impossible to evoke a Zamal pheno from

its a business. they don't exist to serve our personal needs.
things change.

dude, you should save your money up and take a trip to Africa, you will find better genetic than you can get from these seed banks. You would have many strains to choose from and maybe you would find what you are looking for.
if you want to do it right, you gotta do it yourself

Hi all i have trip planned for next year, northern mozambique, malawi and norther zambia/ congo border area. Fishing and getting dagga, dream come true and August/ September is the prime time. Gives the June /July harvest time to cure. The best seeds come from the smoke you test and like not a catalogue or list of fancy names.
I will try and get as much as I can and make it freely available to those who appreciate what they are.

Sounds like a great trip Tangwena! I'm envious, I can't wait till my trip to Africa...

Im sure you will find some amazing stuff. I think Zambia has a lot to offer genetics wise, smoked some mind blowing stuff there. not as speedy as Malawi, but more trippy

you're right, the best comes from the smoke you test.

best of luck

How about the size of the individual countries/provinces themselves?
Some places are smaller, like Ghana, while Congo, Malawi, and Angola are huge.

Is Southern Malawi better than North, or near the Lake?
