Here's one on the harvest day - the 3rd of November. Was still pushing many new pistils, but I don't regret the somewhat early harvest as its stimulating effect is better (to me) and more powerful than the effect of the branches that were left and harvested 10 days later.

Here's the later harvest, still pushing many new pistils in the good weather, but with other hidden pistils inside the buds were withered.

Hola Dubi y colegas!

I was able to grab one of the las packs of Zamaldelica Std few months ago, from 6 seeds i found 3 gorgeous females, Zamaldelica1 Zamaldelica5 and Zamaldelica6.

Now, i like to mistreat them really bad the first time cause i'm working indoors and my main goal is to spot the unstable that throw bananas... but dang they are pretty stable, root restriction, drought, unstable fotoperiod, overwatering, underfeded, luminous stress, take cuttings in flowering... and they're just fine, i highly doubt that rodelization take place in them. It seems that Zamaldelica5 is N sensitive cause all 3 got the same soil.

Thank you in advance for helping me with the phenotype recognition

Tomorrow they reach the 11 week of 11/13, i always use 11/13 cause of DJ Short recommendation

Going to let them until week 12 maybe a little more just in case

Now the pictures

Please take care in this hard times amigos

See you soon on the Guawi thread :huggg:

I had a Zamaldelica "overwintering" outdoors with a supplemental light. Some people call it the GasLantern routine.

Anyhow, It was growing fine and staying in Veg until around April when it started flowering. This was my mistake because I got lazy with the lighting timer.

I noticed the plant was throwing out tons of nanners. I ended up fixing the lighting schedule, and after about a month or so she was back into Veg. I removed the old growth and let her grow naturally without the light thru summer.

Now she is finishing up flowering and no nanners are in sight!

What do you guys think about wet vs. dry trimming when it comes to these thin leafed sativas?

Do you guys have any techniques when it comes to trimming up this strain so it looks most beautiful?

Unfortunately the last photo I have is at 14th week and it’s not so good. I ended up chopping the bottom third at 14 weeks and the rest the day before the 15th week. My buds were rather fluffy-ish and only needed a five day dry in a controlled environment of 70° and 50% humidity.
I’m a dry trim guy(like the extra moisture), especially with the thin leaves. I feel a wood lose too much to trim these up super neat, like I do my hybrids with your more hard nugget type.
They’ve been curing ever since starting at a humidity in the jar at just under 70% and now I have them all settled in at 60-62% and will burp 1x/week until 30 days post chop, and then move to long term storage. I’ve read advice for a good 60-90 days before indulging regularly.
I’ve clone three branches that have responded amazingly to CS and the potent pollen is yielding seeds galore. I should end up having a ton of these tropical Zamaldelicas, and I’m crossing against the few end of the year hybrids left, Sherbert and Zkittlez.

Anyone know what to expect for Zamaldelica F2? I got some circa fall 2016. Zamal/Malawi female mixed with zamal/Malawi male and a tiny bit of thai dominant male.

From outcrosses I know the male brings extreme floral, zamal dominant growth and a trippy intense high.

Planning for next year I got some serious choices to make and wonder if the F2 is worth perusing? Just wondering if F1 is where the best traits lie.

I have the 11 month old monster still adding on to the colas. They are the biggest fucking indoor colas I have ever seen. I have been taking the lower branches that turn brown. I let them sit for a week or more. It is powerful shit.

Zamaldelica zamal pheno. Has the thickest stalk of any plant I've grown, yet the terminal branches are thin and flexible. She is a tough girl, has endured 118F temps and Santa Ana winds of 40mph gusts.
Smelling like syrupy sweet overripe fruit funk. Buds are smallish with lots of resin coverage I think she'll be a few weeks yet. Buds everywhere.... I'll be cobbing up a third. Can't wait to taste!

looks awesome!

Is she yellowing up, as of late? Were her leaves very dark just a few weeks ago? Are you feeding with liquid nutes?

How is she doing with the winds and low humidity?

Do me a favor and go check your tops for what looks like bud rot.

How are the sugar leaves? Any of them crispy?
