11 weeks and going strong

11 weeks and going strong

No complaints here, though patience is a virtue I see. Easy peasy just watering every 3 days, still running 11/13. Looks like a few more weeks still. I run straight organic mix of Stonington blend and fish bone meal during flowering and don’t flush. Any advice for final few weeks?

That’s one plant? Beast indeed! Looks awesome!

It's from one seed!!!!

haha, I started this plant last september, it was under an LED light outside and nearly died, then flowered, revegged, and is now a monster. I think it's "cloned" itself in that container but yeah its one plant !!

Check out my whiskey barrel thread if you want to see some pics. I have never grown with non-organic nutes but I'm feeding her synthetics as a supplement this year, since she is in a small pot. Im hoping to get some Hot ZAMMMM buds! The waiting is killing me lol.

i love learning how different strains can grow. This is my second pure sativa grow, and the first year i'm experimenting with "breeding."

I had a male tuna kush and sprinkled some pollen on one of her lower branches.

12 weeks

12 weeks

She’s really hitting her stride and in her final week. Ambers about 5%’ish, and I’ve seen YukonKronics advice for xs 10%, so lucky #13 weeks looks like a date.
Very cool shedding of its leaves via yellowing and easily picking off the last 1-2 weeks. Buds filling in with the look and expression I was hoping for after years of hybrids and indicas. Such an ease to grow with great spacing of the arms and yet strong enough to hold itself up when needed.
Thanks YukonKronic post for harvest advice.

Very nice Scrog! She’s a beauty! I’m new to these Sativa types as well so, someone correct me if I’m wrong but that girl looks to have a ton of fresh pistils still. Doesn’t look close to being done IMO?? I harvested my killer A5h a little early at 14 weeks under the same conditions so I only mention this because maybe she needs more time. Maybe it’s just the pics but she sure looks filled with fresh extended pistils everywhere.

I’ve seen early amber a few times on the Sativa grows of mine and it was several weeks before the plant was ready.

On my killer A5 for example I saw about 5% amber at week 10, I took her to week 14 and many were saying she still needed two more weeks because of the pistils and overall appearance. Trichomes just kind of stayed at 5% forever it seemed. I’m wondering if you are having a similar situation occurring here.

Can anyone else with more experience confirm or deny that? If not anything but for my own learning :tiphat:

Here’s your pics flipped and corrected for lighting. As mentioned I’m trying to learn as much as I can about these types so I hope you don’t mind me using your grow as an opportunity to learn ;)

If i was in your shoes, and i wanted to enjoy the magnificent effect of zamaldelica i would leave it for another 3 weeks at least...
Cheers

Thanks for the replies and advice. Exactly what I was hoping for. I follow the tricomes vs pistols and they've started to turn, non-uniformly the past 2 weeks, and all milky, but my amber goal sounds a little wishful thinking. The last thing I want is a under-ripened, extra racey Zammy. Fortunately have plenty of stock to assist with the need for patience... Thanks for educating and sharing
