Lovely work friend, sorry for not chime in earlier again in this thread, since we have been talking about this topic in pms i thought i already replied, obviously that was not the case, sorry for that.
Honestly, the more i see the pics of your Vietnam Blacks finishing the more they remind me our old Purple Haze Thai and Green Haze Thai limited editions.
Really happy to know you have successfully reproduced the line. We may work again in a not distant future with our old Vietnam Black x Thai F1 which was fire.

Not sure if pure VB is available from anywhere at the moment but ACE Orient Express is a VB hybrid and Reeferman also has some.

Hiya Petro,
Not sure where these came from originally (Anon, Fet, Billygoat?) but SolarLogos thought the work done was really good, whether it was MrD or before him. Solar was incredibly experienced (and great guy!) so that statement holds weight.
Ive looked all over and there are a few pure repros, but they are not cheap and seems the good plants are the rare exception, not the norm. I might recommend a worked line if you go pure. Was gifted a cross from this line I’ll post on soon, and Solar was right.
PM me and I’m happy to share what I found as I’m not sure we can mention these vendors here.

I sure miss SolarLogos’ posts and amazing work. I don’t think he’s around these boards anymore but I wanted to share yet another example of his amazing work and generosity.
I think this was likely made during the run of plants documented earlier in this thread. It is my personal favorite smoke in hand at the moment.
(KA5xVB) x VB
This is about what would end up being 6wks before harvest. She flowered in a pot under natural sun. at 38/39N. Just some EWC, guano, and water.
She never threw a single pistil, so for the longest time I thought it was maybe a boy. In fact I chopped down a 9ft clone of her I had in the OD plot, leaving me only with the yield of this one potted plant.
About 3wks from chop, Oct 22. she was filling in nicely.
A week or so before chop.
She’s all head. Not racey, just makes u want to get up and do something. Bright and positive, but I wouldn’t say warm and euphoric like a mango haze or Nepalese. I don’t know what happened genetics-wise, but I honestly can’t detect any NL or killer Malawi in the effects, though bud structure was probably helped.

Three more (KA5xVB)xVB here. Last of the seeds from @SolarLogos. Might be one male, fingers crossed, would love to make some regs. I’ve clones of these three running outdoors alongside the one I ran last year for a comparison. I’m excited. Also have VB from Snowhigh I’ll run and likely cross into this these someday. This VB was a nice selection though from MrD so…

@Ncali yes man, for me this was a perfect mating. Good secondary branching, nodes not too far apart. But, gotta say I had these sitting next to an Ohaze other day and it made me smile as the similarity is evident. Like long lost cousins at a reunion, thought the Ohaze was going to lean over and hug one of these jeje.
