Mr D

Greetings Yukon,
I just saw your post, I've been a way harvesting still. Here is the VB today. Her stems and now leaves are purple as the calyxes. Makes me wonder if she will look black when she dries. Besides the 3 clones I took, I have a branch full of seed from a green VB male. They are in week 10 of flower.

Those 3 clones with the flowers on top that rooted in 9 days, now on day 17 have grown 5 nodes from the top of the flower and almost an inch long branches on the lower node above flower. This is one vigorous girl!
Up next, Zam

Here's a pic of mom in bloom around 6 weeks. The purple stems are common on every strain I'm running due to very cool night time temps.

Sorry I still have no idea why they end up sideways.

She looks so frosty for 6 weeks. These girls have always amazed me with the early frost.

I find the narrow leaves with their dark colors very lovely

The Killer A5xVB today in the greenhouse. She is also in week 10 of flower:

I love these plants and feel very honored to be growing these Mr. D. The A5xVB looks like she will have a looser sativa flower, which is alright by me; I'm not in it for the weight. All of them have been easy to grow, just top dress from time to time with ewc and guano and water as needed. Nature is doing the rest. I will get picks of the entire plants up soon. The greenhouse is crowed right now so it's hard to see what plant is which in a picture. Time to rotate some things out.
Peace, God bless

The dark narrow leaves are from dad. He was a tall very thin leafed boy that reminded me of those outdoor 20' Thai trees I've seen in pics. He produced a lot of flowers. He is the same male I used to make the Killer A5 Haze X VB. So he appears to be dominant in both crosses as far as flower structure. Mom's buds are denser and fatter than any of her progeny to date.

I have another batch of VB F-2's that were an open pollination 6 males and 3 females in attempt to maintain genetic diversity.

Hey mr.D I crop a sliver off one edge of my pics before uploading.. as I understand it this imbeds the orientation in the pictures code so it displays correctly every time

Here is the Killer A5xVB, one of Mr.D's crosses. She is really starting to stack on resin.

Zamaldelica
This girl is also starting to stack on resin. I'm going to give them all some ewc and guano tea tomorrow.

I'll get pics up of the other Zamaldelica in a later post.

Thanks for stopping by

Looking good in that greenhouse SolarLogos. What’s the size of your space.

Thank you very much. This one is 100 sq.ft. or 10x10x10. I got it on Amazon a couple years back for $150. Pretty good price considering the quality is excellent. All metal tubular frame and thick heavy cover, double heavy duty stitching. Great quality for the price!

Yep, great strains and beautiful expressions, Sol. Love your work

Greetings Brother, always good to see you. I'm very grateful to have all these strains going, such a fun hobby!

She's has some incensey with underlying mango terps....the kind of terps that get sativa lovers excited.
Very much agree! The purple girl has a lot of sweet, creamy vanilla which smells like cake batter, followed by mango and a piney/incense in the background. My green is straight up incense and mango. The looks, ease of growing, terps really make her something special. Can't wait to try the effects!
Thanks brothers,
Peace, God bless

Can you share any tips on managing your space in that 10x10 area? It just so happens I’m currently filling up my 10x10 “screen house”. It’s my first try at so many outside, and I could use any pointers from a pro! I’m hoping to utilize our tropical climate for a perpetual harvest. There will be some long flowering girls just hanging out in there for a while.

Both the lime green and the purple probably could have been taken as early as 4 or 5 days ago for a good up high, but I think the calyxes are as swollen as they are going to get and the trichomes on both were just starting to take on a golden color, with a few ambers here and there. The lime green is a sweet creamy vanilla, mango with pine. Smells like cake batter, really nice. The purple is similar, but more incense and pine up front.
Here they are together, so you can see the huge difference in color, very beautiful. I miss them in the GH already.

Zamaldelica #2

Zamaldelica #2

Both Zamaldelica came down yesterday. Zam #2 has a sweet creamy mango carrot, no pepper though at this time. She is so frosty. Her trichomes are starting to take on a goldish color, huge trichome heads on her as well. She could be the one! Her hairs take on a faint orange color, never quite turned brown.

Zam #5 is up next

Zamaldelica #5

I took down Zam #5, so both Zamaldelica have been harvested. She is a short dark pheno with much looser flowers. Unlike #2, her leaves turned almost a black in the cool night temperatures. Her smells are not loud, more subtle with tropical fruits, earthy, fresh forest smells with something kind of plain, not strong but I cannot put my finger on it, leathery perhaps. All in all, a very pleasant smell.

Both Zams have been pollinated with my two zam males, with a branch each with seedsman's mama thai and OTH.
Thanks for stopping by. Room in the GH is quickly getting filled.
Peace, God bless

Anxiously awaiting a smoke report on the purple pheno. I'm very interested in hearing about any negative traits surrounding her smell, taste and high.

Thanks so much

You are very welcomed Mr D and again, thank you so much for sharing this plant with me. She has been an absolute joy to grow and I have to say, I really miss her a lot. I have 2 of her clones in veg and one in flower that is filling her spot in the GH. I will pollinate her with some Tom Hill HazexVB that a friend of mine generously gave to me.
So far, looks and smells are amazing. Everything about this plant, both the lime green and purple looks and smells great. I too am anxiously awaiting a smoke report:)
They were both grown in potting soil amended with EWC and Guano, adding both during transplant and topdressing as needed. Other than that, 6.8pH water and that was it. Super easy to grow. These would probably scrog very well indoors.
Thanks for stopping in Mr D:tiphat:
