Hi KyG, my Zamal Hash was surprisingly mold resistent, I expected a disaster which turned out to be practically mold free.
There is potential for mold of course - sticky resin, pretty dense flowers - but without extra help from bugs and dead leaves mold won't develop easily on ZH, at least not on this one.
Buds are quite stinky when dried, they smell of forest coffee if that makes sense:) Potency is really good, can be deep and intense. Not properly dried yet so smoke will be better.
I'm vegging a clone of the outdoor mom now, soon reducing the photoperiod, I'll be able to say more about the smoke after the indoor run.

Awesome bro! thanks for the info. after i seen mayan's pics i figured i would give it a shot next year so i only ordered 1 of this strain. i also picked up a few bangi, nepal jam,pck x kali china, pck x malawi, new p3 killer malawi and panama. i figured i would for sure find a couple keepers that is mold resistant, big yeilds and kncok-out smoke. Im looking forward to your smoke report.

If resin is a sign pointing to potency this plant looks absolutely devastating.

Yes but it's not, sooo bad. For me there no relation between trichomes coverage and potency. I would like there is ...

I've got 2 ZH from seeds, they are gorgeous but only 20 days old in veg, when should i put them to flower, my tent is only 1.6 meter tall? Do they stretch a lot ?

So here's some pics of the Zamal Hash from the final manicure before being jarred for the cure. Really pretty plant in her entirety - and in pieces.

View Image

And STRONG! As in really, really strong! Cuts through my normal cannabinoid base-line with ease - and that takes some doing. And this is pre-cure. Extremely pleasurable body rushes - feels nice to just stop and feel 'em - (for an hour or so). It's not exactly couch lock but its VERY relaxing after the initial electric surges - not at all anxiety producing as it all feel so damn good.

Scent from the jar is a deep citrus - not a high citrus like lemon. Darker and bassier. Orange. Perhaps. Also a deep underlying musk/funk. This may change as she goes through her transformation. Will keep reporting from the front. Enjoy!

Thanks mayan for the Zamal Hash pictures and smoke report :tiphat:

I also find Zamal Hash a strong but balanced sativa/indica effect, with rich musky sweet terpene profile. Hopefully it also shows the anisette/floral touches during the curing process.

She was pinched aggressively in veg and is over 30 branches though some are hanging low. The left top is only a branch(the branch that could) and the top is the right one. High hopes for this. Smoke report comin' later. Not weighed yet. Looks great and very resinous/oily. She was underfed sadly most of bloom and totally rootbound and really needed bigger pot. Still very impressive yield. Thanx Ace crew. Here is a couple quick pics I was able to get. Peace... :tiphat:SR

The ZH I did and would have been best harvest for me, I tried to dry slower and have been very sick lately alot and molded the entire thing just enough to make it trash. I almost cried as I do only a few plants and took me down to just 2 jars though another was just done so thats good. Always something good despite all the bad out there. Sorry will be no smoke report. Did get 3 more seeds with a few others so eventually givin' this another try by the Grace of God and in bigger pot lets see what happens. Peace... :tiphat:SR

Sorry for the delay in the reply Speed Racer, i missed your posts.

Your Zamal Hash looked great in your pics, she was in the perfect moment for harvest. What do you think it caused the mold later ?
Hopefully you have the chance to grow the rest of the seeds and finish her next time without problems. You deserve to enjoy this strain.

I've got a seedling of zamal hash going. Only plant I've ever seen skip the 3 leaf set. Went from 1 leaf to 5 leaf on the second set of leaves. Can't wait to see what this little monster does

Well, what do you guys think? Maybe I got overexcited calling these fingers, but an interesting trait nontheless. Maybe this is common and I have not grown enough enough to see it before?

Hello! I just cutted down this beauty today, at eight and a half week. It might have been a little soon, but is difficult to know the first time with a strain. I'm very happy with the results!
Cheers

2016 summer grow. I have some Zamal Hash, Purple Peyote, Orient Express, Golden Tiger, Violeta and Zamaldelica X Hawaiian going. I'm not sure what to think about the Zamal or the Purple Peyote yet. All plants were seeded in the same potting soil with worm castings mixed in. The rest are robust and growing nicely. The Zamal and PP came up and hit a wall. A couple true leaves then nothing in 3 weeks. I'm going to let them go through the end of July. The others will be moved for flowering then. I did put one of the Zamal Hash and PP's plants in a strait up potting soil mix. I will see if they start growing or if it is just the seeds of these two strains. I have been rotating between rain and lake water for all plants. I will double check the Ph's of waters and soil to make sure all is well. Has anyone else had similar issues? Peace

I need to add after checking my notes I realized that I had a different manure in my soil mix for a couple of grow bags. They looked very rich and may have been much hotter than my regular brand. I purchased more of these seeds from Ace to try and get seeds out of the same batch. I won't be able to get feedback until next spring when I start seeds again. I plant straight into my grow bags or pots to avoid transplanting whenever possible. Just my preference. Peace

When you bring back Zamalhash or another Zamal indica hybrid, I would be VERY interested in running them. The effects of Zamal "tamed" with a bit of relaxation should be excellent and the pics in this thread are amazing / inspirational. Impressed as always Dubi! :tiphat:
